If he can't start in that side, what exactly makes people believe he should be starting for us? 1- Being on the Bench doesn't mean he is not important for the team, we have many injuries and Ramadan is our hope for the 2nd half. 2- Ramadan has enough skills to finish the game when he comes from the bench. 3- Ramadan doesn't play regularly with Stoke City, so he cant play with Egypt 90 minutes every 2-3 days. 4- Ramadan participated with Egypt in 3/5 matches in AFCON and today he will participate to make it 4/6. 5- Ramadan scored the winning goal against Nigeria in Cairo, made the assist for the draw goal in Nigeria, and this is why Egypt qualified for the AFCON, in both games he came from the bench. 6- Ramadan is the future of Egypt, He is a real young-star. 7- In case Egypt wins today it will be ranked 20 in Fifa ranking , In case Egypt loses today it will be ranked 24 in Fifa ranking. 1. Yes it does or he would be starting 2.why hasnt he git those skills throughout the game 3. He hasnt played ninety minutes for Egypt for ages so is he not match fit? 4. A bit irrelevant really, how many of those has he started? 5. Why didn't he start those games if he's "egypts best player" 6. Lets hope so!

In fairness, I wouldn't start him against half of these hackers and hatchet men......some brutal tackles have been put in over the course of the competition.

Cameroon's second came originally from a poor ball into the box from Sobhi. Work to be done.

Congratulations for Cameroon Hardluck for Egypt
Sobhi played for about half an hour , It was the worst game for him.

Thought Egypt concentrated too much on getting the ball to Salah. Seemed to be ignoring Sobhi on the other side even when he was free. Best team on the night won though

I honestly can't believe you lot some times, call your selves fans yet are always waiting for players to slip up so you can slag them off. So Ramadan only made the bench, there's people on here straight away going on and on about him not being a "saviour" or it's ok that he doesn't play at Stoke because he doesn't play for Egypt either... Did you watch him against Hull, West Ham etc... Best player on the pitch. Yes he is not Ronaldo, but it's his first season in a new country.
Same is happening on the other thread with Ngoy... Bloody key board warriors who think they're bloody footballs leading expert putting our young players down all the time, absolute joke.

Was he man of the match? No?
Must've been Hughes's fault.

Cameroon's second came originally from a poor ball into the box from Sobhi. Work to be done. I thought the same as I watched, Sobhi played a through ball expecting a run from Warda which never came, this is hardly surprising as he was on the floor with cramp only moments earlier! One lose ball wasn't the reason for the defeat as the 4 defenders around the goal scorer should have dealt with the situation better.
