And Simpson should have gone for deliberate hand ball but it shouldn't have made any difference

Hapless ref booked wrong player, booking huth instead of issuing 2nd booking to King If that is correct then a) Pawson should not be near another Premiership game this side of Christmas and b) We still would have thrown the game away!

On Wednesday we couldn't keep hold of the ball with 10 against 11, today we couldn't keep hold of the ball with 11 against 10, there is a little more to be concerned about closer to home rather than the ref!

Yes, butler's. I've been saying this for a while. We give it away far too easily. January is critical this season without a doubt. We NEED SOME PACE!

We have pace, in the likes of Sobhi and NGoy, the difference is getting the manager to give them a chance without shitting himself and reverting to the old guard who combined achieve very little.

Regardless it is still a huge talking point and arguably THE decision that altered the course and outcome of the game.

Equally Dave, just think how embarrassing it would be trying to explain a draw against 9 men!

Probably so fella but for me there is more to worry about, our lack of posession etc, we should have taken them to the cleaners today without the ref, just like Burnley second half at home but we didnt and it is worrying that we cant kill teams, god help us when the ACON starts!

I'm not trying to excuse our second half performance which bordered on the embarrassing, but it is a huge decision to get wrong and will most likely cost him his position as a premier league ref.

We had loads of possession. The problem was we slipped into 2nd gear, passing it backwards and sideways because the movement ahead was non existent. When they scored, we couldn't get back up the gears. It is no coincidence that in 3 of the last 4 games we've struggled to keep hold of the ball. It coincides with the introduction of a centre forward who was born offside and an attacking midfielder who runs anywhere and everywhere with little or no idea of how or why he's doing it.

Bloody hell, I wondered why Huthy was going absolutely berserk to the ref - didn't realise he'd been booked when innocent. Pisser 😆

Pisser 😆 Huth must be delighted that his protestations of innocence fell on deaf ears. He would not have been popular with his colleagues or Ranieri if the ref had reversed his decision and given the second booking to King.
