My 11 year old son (from Shipley, West Yorkshire) at left back, marked a fellow Stoke City supporter - a girl winger today at his team Thackley juniors away fixture at Silsden on the north/west Yorkshire border! I used to see her father at matches. We are everywhere!

That'll be my great niece. I took her Dad (my nephew, Yorkshire born and bred, to his first game at the Vic in 1983. Her Mum and brother support Bradford. PH

I live at Saltaire. Went to game yesterday with my older brother (Stoke fan) and my older son and his half brother, both Burnley fans! Younger Stoke supporting son was sick on morning so couldn't make it even though I'd bought his rail and match tickets. I should have made him miss his game this morning as punishment!

Alex doesn't get to many games now - but he has never lived in Stoke, it's just that his Uncle from Barlaston (me) got him into Stoke, just in time for the holocaust season. He used to go home and away when younger. PH

Yeah, you are to blame Rich for introducing me to Chambo, Micky t and Georgie in 1982! Met some fantastic people following the mighty Potters over the years. Seriously enjoying it now having been a regular during the mediocrity of the late 90s, early 2000s

A good night out is saltaire, Fish.
Though I didn't know u at the time I remember your tale of Oldham away in 85, getting walked round the pitch with the Bucknall lads! That was my first away game with peterhampton and a fine 4-2 win. Definable remember those lads being walked round the pitch

We all love Fanny's! Yes good pub, one of the first micropubs. I actually prefer the Hop ( formerly Tramshed).
