He fuckin knew what he was doing, don't think anything else!!! Probably didn't mean to cause him any damage, but he went in with the intention of twating Indi, he was at it all game!!!! Led with his arm all game.Nasty coward is Barnes. Didn't just lead with his arm in that incident though, there was a definite smack to the chops - subtle but on purpose.

Not a red card according to Dermot Gallagher on Sky just 🤔 What a shock, I think if he had stabbed Indi a 120 times chopped him up and fed him to pigs Gallagher would say "never a red ref got it right"

What did Dyche say about it? That Stoke's level of gamesmanship exceeded theirs and that we went down and feigned injuries very well. Idiot. Gamesmanship is pushing the rules to the very limits of actions allowed within the rules of the game. In extreme cases the referees do have the opportunity to punish those trying to gain an advantage, e.g intimidating officials, time wasting, feigning injury, delaying penalties or other free kicks, in reality time wasting is most likely to attract a yellow card - probably GKs get the most attention Until rules are tightened, adapted it will continue at every club including ours

I don't think I've ever heard Dermot Gallagher come down on our side whether we are the perpetrator or victim. We will see what the FA Panel say

Does anyone know if this will actually be looked at by the FA?

Even for leverage, you don't jump with tour fucking elbow out like that.
Cowardly fuck knew exactly what he was doing.

Did they ban his ass yet? They seem to ban for less but it is Stoke so, probably no retrospective look at all.

Would have looked at it by now surely. Won't do us any favours now so move on and remind the FA next time one of our own gets a retrospective

I met Bruno today and I asked him how his face was and he said it was OK. I said I hadn't realised how bad it was until I saw it on TV, he said to me " yeah but they didn't talk about it did they? He said you know why? Because this is Stoke, if it was Arsenal, City or Chelsea they'd have been saying how bad it was but because it was me, they didn't even mention it" He was being introduced to Dennis Smith too and Tony Scholes was comparing them but was saying Dennis would only last 20 minutes each game in today's era due to his "style" of play. The legend and the legend in the making were having a good chat. He's a sound guy, was full of chat and very down to earth.

He deserves a red card....My issue is how does this help Stoke? I mean him getting banned after the match, a card in the match means we have more man power for us, its meant to be a punishment given in games to give the other team an advantage.....Doesn't give them time to train without a player they can't field in future matches ect, granted I know the ref didn't see it...Personally in these situations when a player is given a ban after the match, the next time the two teams play the offending team is forced to take a player off in the minute the foul was made, would discourage players having a pop when the refs busy watching something else.

It doesn't help us much because we just played them, so he'll be back in the team before we play them again. It only directly helps the the teams Burnley play in the next three games.
