The Oatcake champagne Socialist drinking club. Count me in. A world away from the madding crowd of the frothing reactionary grog factory I hear there's a Marx tribute act tomorrow night down viccy hall with special guest Jezza Corby discussing "how to be offended by every facet of life". Should be good for you boys.. When's the next EDL rally, Harry? Must bob up to Hanley Spoons for a curry and a pint to watch all the flags unfurl over the mezzanine and the big lovely singalong Actually, shit, sorry! I meant sausage and mash! Good old English sausage and mash....

No Rob, I'm afraid it's strictly lighting our own farts after 7 pints, arguing over the best Ricky Fuller goal and laughing at the reactionaries on here. I'm sure fraise and his lot will gladly discuss black single mother muslim lesbian amputees at the CC post-match though 7 pints between you? Why don't you go and sit in Coroner's Corner at the CC and take bets. We'll report back on progress

Noah's Ark's the closest to Harplands Hospital. London Road Tavern & Orange Tree closest to The Harplands When I worked there anyway.

Chooose a boozer with a good juke box and I'm in. Not on a school night though. I believe it maybe a hypothetical boozer, so take your pick. What will you be having & what's playing on the duke box... £@#&!n'e!!, how egalitarian is this. It's not even my Thread & I'm giving you the 1st shout. How would you expect to other lot to operate... Don't answer that, cause they is boring as & im not interested C'mon man, no chance of getting sozzled at this rate Bathster. All you've done is shout out the names of obscure starters. Get yer drink and preferred snacks ordered. And put some tuneage on. {Tuneage was for Samba. A bit street.}

A yard of Owd Roger? {*it's next weeks guest ale in me local. Oh dear} Too thick & sweet for me, I'm down with the IPA's Owd Roger used to be delicious , not drunk it for some years .....these IPA 's see to be very popular these days ....a little to citrusy and flowery for my palette , I was in Witherspoons during the summer with one of my lads and he introduced me to American Shipyard Ale ( or something similar ) , I was sceptical when he bought it , but it was delicious , I think that may have been an IPA ?

It's worth a taste if you see it mate. We were drinking it in Normandy on our D-Day trip a couple of years back. Fermented in the same manner as a lager but with lot more body and malt flavour. Nice bottle as well. :-)
