A welcome return to form for Mr H That was just quality management today, with limited choices, away from home against a strong creative side. We kept it lovely and tight and team spirit was cracking. So hopefully last week really was just a blip... 9 from me * if you were there

9???????? 5 changes from last game, bare bones in defence and he masterminds a win at an in form team. Controlled the game - as professional as it gets.
10 all day every day.

One minor critical point for me, Charlie should have worn the armband but not going to mark him down for that. Had the balls to to make the changes forced on him and those not forced but required

9/10 and the two nil away win it should've been, would've secured the ten

Should've had Sobhi on sooner in second half as we had no outlet and had stopped moving. Besides that, good effort.

9 Team really played well at times today. Wouldn't have played walters, but even he did well, he made some good runs and if it wasn't for the final ball could have had a goal.

10. Bossed it pretty much from start to finish & didn't let them have a sight at goal. And btw Walters was great.

10. A lash up of a side on paper played better than "the first team" have for a while and no "silly" subtitutions

10 - right tactics, good organisation, top notch motivation. Think he can relax over his Sunday dinner tonight safe in the knowledge of a job well done.

Has to be a 10 for me, very solid performance and some pace at last, no suicidal substitutions for a change, all in all great show from all.

I will say 9. I don't think Watford were at their best, but we were composed, resilient and made smart decisions.

Thought he should have taken shaq off and put ramadan on as shaq was losing possession a lot. Other than that a decent line up. Just needs to find the killer touch formula.

9- his subs are still bat shit mental Normally I'd agree but not today. Crouch was brought on to win the aerial battles in defence when they started playing direct

10* from me, we looked solid, every one worked as a team. No individuals out there today. Not many opportunities for them and should have been down to 9 men.
Well done Hughes and well done each and every player on the pitch today. That's what it's like when you are fighting for each other.
Even though Bony didn't play, came on the pitch to congratulate the players who did. That's what I like to see. It's a team game and whether u're playing or not, be there for your team mates.

10. Lots of positives from today...top half of the table, three points, no bookings, no injuries (hopefully) and all the replacements acquitted themselves well. So much better than last week!

Good away win with a very make shift team. The players are still playing for him no matter how confused some must be by his treatment of them. Encouraging signs from Imbula he wasn't exactly a human dynamo but showed a willingness to get involved shoveling shit as well as passing a bit more than trying to beat a whole team. Diouf's effort with whatever he's asked to do is mammoth, very surprised his attitude remains so good despite apparent shite treatment by Hughes.

10. For no other reason than the fact he had them ready to go and never let Watford into the game.
Hats off.
Onwards and upwards.

8. Ballsy starting XI that worked but sitting deep nearly cost us, and the sub (and lack of others) could have been better.

10...His team selection based on what was available made many on this board look like chumps, got it spot on with a couple of ballsy calls. The usual moans about Walters ahead of Ram show those who called for that know little about picking a team with the right balance of defense and attack. In the end we controlled almost all of the game and reduced Watford to frustrating fouling tactics. I can't remember seeing a game where a team committed so many fouls. Bravo Mark Hughes!

Name me any game where ANY PL side has dominated from 1st whistle to last. I really don't know what people expect. Would just be nice to compete for 90 mins. Rather than shut up shop at 60 every game. Man United away the only exception. The rest you can set your watch by.
