Mmm.... I wouldn't want to join any other club in the same league as Stoke. Abroad, I'd join any top 6 club in Spain, Italy or Germany (Apart from Werder Bremen or BVB), Ajax or PSV. I wouldn't play in France or Russia though..... I don't know why? The caveat is that Stoke wanted to sell me and I had no choice. The only club that would turn my head is obviously FC Bayern. Just curious...what's the problem with Werder? Having worked for a \Bremen based company I know quite a few WB fans, they seem ok...

Borussia Dortmund.
Playing in that atmosphere must be semi-inducing.

Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Porto, Marseille, Lyon, Livorno, AC Milan, Juventus, Fiorentina, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Schalke, Hamburg, Ajax, PSV, any club in Australia, etc quite a long list Interested why you dropped Livorno in there. From my experience it's the Italian equivalent of Hull!

Borussia Dortmund. Playing in that atmosphere must be semi-inducing. Beat me to it. Im sure if I was in that position quite a few clubs could tempt me, and maybe I've read biased media along the same lines as how the "wet windy night in Stoke" became some kind of trial of Hercules, but this send the many hairs on my neck going every time: On normal match days when they can stand, that stand holds the same as our stadium

Surely the answer is any club that would pay you enough to mean you don't have to work for the average U.K. Salary?

Ujpest dozsa
That came from a long-forgotten corner of a distant childhood memory
Probably some player from the Magyar team which took part in the world Cup of 1982 used to play for them

After a glittering career as a one club man with my beloved Potters, myself who i probably compare to Tony 'Zico' Kelly being fond of a pie and a pint but without the skill, would finish it all off with my hometown club. Newcastle Town.

Fantstic, thought provoking, and a great contribution as always Bayern! It's a daft fucking question though isn't it really? There's loads and being a fan of Stoke really wouldn't come into it if you've got anything about you.

Personally I wouldn't be interested in any other team - similar to a certain Denis Smith a true and loyal Stoke fan

I would go anywhere till i was 30 and after that i would be leaving on a free to join stoke to end my career. It surprises me that there are not many players who make an attempt to play for their own club.

I honestly don't think I would. I know we all like to think that we'd be loyal but I legitimately think of myself as a Stoke fan rather than a fan of the game as a whole, I don't even generally watch matches that don't involve Stoke apart from the odd couple every month.

It just stems from my childhood when they were consistently challenging Bayern for the title, Pokal etc. A bit like Barnsley Stockport... clubs who were rubbing it in our faces when they were beating us. They haven't particularly done anything wrong since, but it just sits there with me. I still see them as rivals...

Honestly wouldn't like to play at a Barcelona or a Real Madrid. Playing 3 or 4 big games a season must be fun...
Much rather stay at Stoke and have every game be a big one.
