The 2 weather obsessed daily's (Star & Express) are again predicting a really cold winter (so that's about last 5 years wrong as winters have been mild compared to "when I was a lad"). BUT David Ickes predictions of freaky changeable and extreme weather is correct as since he said this, it has been occurring more (it certainly seems) than before. I'll probably be called daft , as he was, but normally it was warm but often wet in summers in the past and when it was real cold in winter it would stay that way for at least 4 or 5 days rather than for 4 or 5 hours like now before it suddenly changes.

If youre interested in weather manipulation, do a google search on HAARP. Personally, I find the best conspiracy theorist to be Ian R Crane. Brilliant videos on YouTube!!

Still not convinced about his royal lizard people theories, but I'll forgive him those excesses it was a tough time for him.
Weather keeps on happening, the Earth etc is no respecter of months or calendars. We've been through droughts and ice ages and woss before. We've only been witnessing it for 20 thousand years or so, and documenting it for a lot less.
Seen someone controlling their house heating from a hive, by phone in the pub toooneet. That's never rayt.
As Ian Dury might say "What a Waste", or as Jim Royle might say, "Put your coat on Barbara."
If fuel, salt and soup sales start to drop they'll try to convince us there's harsh weather afoot. Don't believe the hype.
Outdoor Barbecue Christmas again.
Not been cold at the Brit yet and December is knocking.

Icke has resorted to more and more bizarre conspiracy theories as the quest to publish more books and remain in the public eye grows.
I'm all for a good old fashioned pre internet theory myself (JFK, RFK, Monroe, Jack The Ripper, etc) but Icke realised he was was on to something when he realised the further he strayed from the mainstream, the bigger the response.
Some of his early theories were quite tame- he was an early exponent of the Green Party. These days Most of his stuff is anti Semitic and downright racist.
It is mostly badly written , and comes across like the ravings of a madman at a bus station
The latter writing is downright bizarre and almost lapses into self parody - the shape shifting aliens which include the royal family, the kennedys, Ted Heath and - for some reason -boxcar Wille.
If you look at when his latest theory is published , there is often a correlation between the content and what is popular in science fiction- for example his views that we are all asleep in a computer program came out after the matrix film series
Likewise he has noted the popularity of Ancient Aliens ( itself a great piece of tongue in cheek fun, judging by the speech patterns and hairstyles of the presenters- which starts each episode with the warning suffix "what if it were true") and picked up only themes and run with them, ie moon is a hollow artificial construct and is where our true controllers live.
I've met him once and he really is a grade A valve. At best he is a self obsessed clown. At worst he is a dangerous anti Semite, who preys on the populist beliefs of a downtrodden gullible section of the public who lap up his twaddle with unquestioning loyalty
The weather prediction? Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day.
His career really has gone downhill since his goalkeeping injury at Coventry (and in his mind, what's happened to them is all a conspiracy, due to his connections with them!)

I met him once at Portsmouth Harbour station, he was running around with that panic look people have, he asked where the train to London was, I looked up at the board and said platform 3, thick bastard he was It has been an El nino and el nina year I think, last time that happened was in 2010, we then had the coldest winter for many years here

I did some work up in Finland and a bloke from the Norwegian place involved in the HAARP conspiracy theories was there. His reaction to all the theories was to be confused as fuck. I can't find the website right now, but one of the nutters was saying it was a secret laser gun designed to attack Valhalla or something. Brilliant stuff.

I watched his lecture to The Oxford Union on Netflix, (he did a lecture instead of doing a debate). I found his lecture to be an embarrassment in front of some of this country's brightest young people. What struck a chord with me was a section in his lecture where set out position (I can't remember what it was), and only the day before, I had read what Richard Dawkins had said on the same subject. I keep and Dawkins used the same example to argue the opposite cases. I chose to believe Richard's view of the world.

Every year various weather sites predict the hottest/coldest/wettest blah. Most of the time these people get it completely wrong, they are basically attention seeking and trying to build a reputation, they work on the principle (like benji) that one year they will get it right and suddenly be venerated as some sort of oracle. Unfortunately because humans have short memories this can work for some.
Its trends which really matter, and the trend is global warming - whether trump denies it or not.

Tongue in cheek about Icke but hope no one thats slated him ever moans about the weather! Don't know about any none weather related stuff he said but many of these sports presenters turn out to be odd or do odd things, such as our own Stokie Frank Bough, Gerald Sinstadt, (any more?) and now the rantings of Gary Lin(icke)r.

Hey, lay off Frank Bough, we consider him a son of Oswestry as he was educated here. Probably explains his taste for the charlie and prozzers.

There was a documentary some years back, entitled, "David Icke, was he right?" (available on Youtube and worth a watch) in which he pretty much comes over as he is in real life - angry, bitter, defensive.
Even the late great Sir Terry felt sorry for him after the infamous Wogan interview, and later admitted remorse. He invited him to come on to make amends some years later and get his views across -thats on youtube as well -and Icke immediately goes on the offensive and Wogan terminates the interview. I can vouch thats how he is in person.
He dines out on 9/11 -saying that he predicted it. He also tells anyone who will listen that he warned people about Savile, but again, an exhaustive search through his ramblings produces no mention of the late pervert when he was alive.
fascinating in his unwavering belief that he alone is right. disturbing that more than 10 people listen to him

The Old Farmers' Almanac 1792 "If the crescent Moon holds its points upward, able to contain water, it predicts a dry spell." As it is.
