Where's Albert when you need him? Sorry this is a late starter... what I loved about today is we didn't play particularly well and never looked like losing, ok against a struggling side but so are we still on paper - and Shaq, what can you say? Beautiful is his word of the day and I agree! 8 from me & * if you were there please?

The best thing he did for me was to play the same side as last week. He knows, we know, the players know that this is the line up that's going to win us games. His bench was worrying though. 7.5*

Just needed another goal to calm the team down and demoralise Hull to the point of submission.
Bony improving, although he needs to shoot earlier. Shaq and Arn both incredible. Midfield industrious and tenacious. Defence and Grant impressive.

He got it pretty much spot on again.
We finally have a settled team that looks solid defensively (after the chaos of the first few games) and is starting to look more confident and purposeful going forwards.
There wasn't much for MH to do today really: Pick the same team. Bring on a pacey striker when Hull were chasing the game.
Job done, let's move onto Swansea!

9. Excellent except for the bench, which was strange. Fortunately, he didn't need to use it.

Some harsh ratings on here for a comfortable 2-0 win away from home with some lovely football to boot for vast periods.

4 for me... Surely SJW and Bojan should be first names on the sheet, ahead of Shaq and Arnie at the very least...And as for sticking with that goalie, who is 3rd choice at a struggling Derby, where the fuck was Hauugard....Hughes aint got a clue... Now my rant is over it's time for nurse to administer my meds....

8 A decent day at the office again. What is good news is that we seem to be finding a way of beating teams that set up defensively. Something we struggled with last season.

9/10. Did the right thing by maintaining the same team as before. Loses a point for that bench: we might have had to use it and that horrifies me.

Sorry Sal, only just logged on myself 9 I have to say we need a settled side now we are finding some form and no points deducted for rubbish subs. Hull looked a poor side but we can only beat the team in front of us and this Hull side looked really strong a few weeks ago. Gouranga.

10. Bench not what I'd have picked but hey ho we won an away game easily with a clean sheet that's as good as it gets

8.5 for me, an away win and a clean sheet Always room for improvement obviously, but I just think when Bony scores his first more will follow, and then he'll fuck off to the ANC!

8 from me , bit dramatic to call it a must win game but after such a poor start it was important , we did a good job , still lots to improve on but Shaq was the difference . MH deserves a lot of credit for dropping his record signing for the good of the team , never easy . Cameron has made a big difference in making us much more solid . But dropping Given for Grant has also made a big difference . Much tougher challenges than Sunderland and Hull are ahead but hopefully we now have a platform to have a reasonable season .
