Last season's Chelsea and Blackburn being the other contenders.
If they finish below 10th they'll be the worst of the Prem era.
Their fans won't give a flying one, nor should they. Anything else is a bonus for them.

In reality they weren't that brilliant last year but it was one of those seasons where everything conspired to be in their favour. Bit like Blackburn in 1995.

Blackburn in 1995 were one of the biggest spenders in the league with Alan Shearer in his prime up front so they weren't a surprise at all. Before the season started they were probably second or third favourites for the title think they had been runners up the year before too. Leicester's title last season was in a different league of unexpectedness.
Last season was definitely a case of the stars aligning for them. It was the overall weakest Premier League season amongst the top 10 clubs for decades with every single one of the usual top teams in crisis or transition for big portions of the season. Combined with that was the fact that so many of their players massively overperformed for such long periods of the season giving them the consistency to take advantage of the weak league and ultimately win the league comfortably. This season the big clubs are back on form and the mid table looks stronger too. I suspect Leicester will end up finishing somewhere between 8th-12th and normal service will be resumed for them from now on. Not that it should stop their fans enjoying last season's success for the rest of eternity. I would if Stoke are ever lucky enough to benefit from such circumstances.

They pulled off a miracle winning the title last year and that's something you can never take away from them.
They'll probably finish in the top half.

If you think they weren't brilliant last year you must have thought we were absolutely dog shite fromm start to finish then, or do you think we were unlucky to win the League??? You cant win one of the most competitive trophies in the world over 42 games on luck.....absolute dogshite that. If we ever achieve anything near like they did last year we'll be singing from the rooftops

But they did have a massive slice of luck. Luck in that all the other contenders conspired to lose the title. For fucks sake the Champions finished below us. Who could have predicted that? Luck in that they had no major injuries. Luck in that all their main players performed in concert. It wasn't entirely down to luck but I didn't say that though did I? That was just your incorrect interpretation of what I posted. Read it again. I agree if we'd done it I wouldn't give a fuck but that wasn't my point either.

What odds on both the champions of the Premier League And the Championship being relegated?
Don't think Leicester are that bad, but won't finish in the top half of the league this season.

Everything including the FA Any closer to telling us why the FA (or the Premier League)would want unfashionable Leicester City winning the major prestigious prize in English football? Coz all the big teams were rather shite last year and people tend to love fairytales so the fairytale that a team which was relegation fodder could actually win the EPL made the EPL even more interesting to follow as anything can happen Leicester would never have won the league without all the help they got from the refs last season

And if they did want an underdog, why choose Leicester? Why not a newly promoted team, why not a team like West Ham with a big following and a narrative, why not another team who nearly went down and stayed up at the last like Sunderland?

Leicester were deserved champions.
2 out of 2 in the champions league, maybe that's what they're concentrating on this year.

They were the most consistant side last year so they deservedley won the league, I think most honest leicester fans will admit they did have a huge dollop of luck, but so what.plus the fact all the big underperformed last year meant it was a perfect storm.this year I think they will finish bottom half thats why I had a little bet on them before the season. p.s. im still narked that a side we battered in the first half and should have gone in at half time 5 up but had to settle for 2 could come back and secure a very lucky draw

Leicester City evokes strange feelings with me,really not sure if i like them or dislike them.Always liked Filbert Street, hate the Crisp Ground.Liked their old kit,Mark Wallington was a keeper i thought was great, but they left a trail of hardship behind them when they went into administration and profited from it themselves afterwards. When we relegated them on promotion day i was glad they were suffering on the day but yet i cheered them onto win the Premier League. Very strange club for me personally, but i do know i am jealous of them, since i started watching football(1977) they have won 2 League Cups and the big one.I would give anything(excluding family and home) to see Stoke win a major trophy.
