Must admit..conna wait for this one. Fireworks by the Thames after the game. Whose going? Don't do away games but I'd actually like to see the new ground in person, been to most of the other grounds over the years when the travelling seemed to be less of an issue to me.

Be careful what you wear Nick. My lad got his nose splattered over his face last year That was definitely the case round Upton Park. It was always one of the more intimidating grounds to leave. Don't know what the natives have been like round the Olympic Stadium (I refuse to call it the London Stadium, arrogant tossers) but if their behaviour in the ground is anything to go by I'd go without colours. Kind of what I was thinking to be honest. Sad but True.

A lot of the trouble inside the ground is between West Ham fans..fighting each other. Security is lax because the club won't pay for enough Police..despite being given the ground more or less by the taxpayer.

This one is going to erupt in and out of the stadium. Not one for the feint hearted at all. If you're not up for a bit of toe to toe action, I'd suggest going on the club coaches, you're more likely to be protected by security. Those of you travelling on train / tube, you'll really need to stick together. I'm actually looking forward to seeing how our gobby kids react. Personally, I would stop them playing there until they get their act together. Said a few weeks ago that my mate from Boro went and he said it was going off literally everywhere.

Kind of what I was thinking to be honest. Sad but True. First time I went to West Ham was in '71 for the League Cup Semi 2nd leg as a naive 15 year old and I've been many times since. In recent years I've found it to be a pleasant day out, certainly nothing like during the 70's and 80's when you really had to have your wits about if you wanted to get back in one piece. Having said that it's still the type of place to treat with a certain amount of respect, I wouldn't advise anyone to go round shouting the odds and expect the natives not to get a bit restless, the locals are still more than capable of responding in kind if provoked. I'll be at the game, I'll be interested to see the new stadium and a little bit sad that I won't be going to the Boleyn Ground again as it became one of my favourite grounds and away games.

Think there's quite a few Stoke lads going, so they'll tend to stick up for the shirt boys. God knows how this one is going to turn out.

So that means no ticket for me despite being to every league game at the Boleyn since 1985 (I don't have a ST as I live in Cambridge)
Could anyone tell me if we took our full allocation or decided to only take a percentage and what that full allocation would have been ?
Certainly not sitting in the home end for this one !

Security will be beefed up after that game I would imagine!!!!

Apparently also denied Chelsea the full 7500 cup allocation due to security concerns. Given them just over 5k. Could be wrong.

Wanted to go, phoned yesterday when Potters' Foundation members could apply, already sold out!!!
Mind you, as someone who isn't up for a little "toe-to-toe action", and after everything I've read on here, can't say I'm losing a great deal of sleep over it, just worried about the repercussions for SCFC if it does turn into mayhem?

I doubt there will be any trouble, we always we're taking loads of lads then in the end about thirty turn out who are quite happy to sit in a pub all day, those days are over personally don't think we have it in us anymore, we will see.
