Whilst there are no words to describe how shit Messrs given, Walters, Cameron and Whelan were, bojan once again looked so far off the pace and contributed absolutely nothing positive to the game.
Exactly how long can we give him before we conclude that his pre injury form was a mere blip and the norm is the crap that came before it and now after it?
I said it during the window and I'll say it again now, we should have sold him whilst we had the chance.

To be honest mate we might as well put names in a hat and pull them out.
What a load of disjointed toss. I can't believe it's come to this.

Bojan was dreadful Dave, its so sad to see. Prior to his injury he was a revelation. Not any more.

Unfortunately think he's beyond redemption and his career has this as a typical situation , shines bright then faded, I know he was injured but that was a long time ago , today was the ideal opportunity but he just hasn't got it anymore

Producing what he did at his previous clubs after a decent start and I this case an awful injury but 4 year contract was madness . No where near next weeks team for me and what Adam has to do to earn that spot God only knows .

He set the tone with a lazy half hearted pass meant for Johnson that put us on the back foot and ultimately led to us conceding.
With Joselu gone and Muniesa seemingly made of cotton wool it ain't looking too clever for our Spanish boys !

He was crap and has been for some time.
I'd drop him and try a 4-4-2 with Bony parnering Diouf. Bojan doesn't look arsed, keeps losing the ball and gets knocked about too easily.

unaware of how many who've posted were actually at the game, however, what 'might' not have been see on screen were his runs, small passes to others in space, and running back to defend
i counted at least 4 times he was the only one back in the corner near us defending with blocks or creating time for others to get in position (more than the actual fucking defence)
if there are agendas to be had, lets not start with someone who clearly cares and does try

He needs a prolonged spell on the sidelines as he is bang out of form and is not one you would rely on in a battle. He seems to have these slow starts to a season and then finds a bit of form after a rest so it might be to everyone's benefit.
He does look like an 8 year old playing in a game of 12 year olds. Obvious ability but lacking the physical attributes to benefit from it. Unfortunately, I think that will be the story of his career.

He found his level at Stoke and if he keeps playing the way he did today then he will drop lower and lower.

Isn't the problem that Bojan is too deep - for 12 months he hasn't been causing problems around the box. That's Hughes' fault not to correct that and increase the tempo of our play.

He looked really different today. Pissed off. Frustrated, the lot. Didn't seem the bright happy sprite we signed. Worrying.

And yes he was poor today.

Bojan has to be one of the best talents I've had the pleasure of seeing play in red and white, to be fair to him and the team they seem to have no idea where they should be playing or what there role should be. Looks like complete confusion out there.

His game seems too restricted. I blame hughes for his over complicated tactics. To get the best out of bojan, he needs to dictate everything in midfield. He always wants the ball, so give it to him. Let him do what he wants in the middle and get the team playing to his tune.

Pre match that was my thought. 5 starts. However, on watching the game can we really afford that luxury given how bad he was? Did he link up with bony even once yesterday?

I don't really think it should be viewed as a luxury Dave, more of a necessity. We have to play with a number 10, or else Bony is going to be painfully isolated. We could go with Diouf there but then just where is the (potential) for creativity through the middle going to come from? As batshit crazy as it sounds, I think I'd stick with same XI on Saturday (bar Diouf for Walters). All the changes people are suggesting are just a clutching of straws and wild stabs in the dark until they see those suggestions fail too. I think the team he fielded yesterday was about as close to the best side he could have put out and that's, very, very worrying. I don't think they aren't playing for him (yet) but rather that Hughes has simply assembled a collection of individuals who aren't actually that good.

Until Shaq is fit. Shaq will be happier in the No 10 spot. Arnie on the right, Sobhi left with Shaq in behind Bony

Bojan has lost his spark, that is a fact, he created nothing yesterday and as such it is fair to point that out. I certainly don't think he is lazy but that pass that was meant for Johnson yesterday was bullshit.

I watched the game very closely to try to get my head round tactically why we are so shit in the final third. What I did notice is the number of hopeful balls that were 'dinked' into the box, christ knows how players are supposed to get the ball under control. Bojan probably had a bit of neck ache yesterday watching the ball constantly float over his head, although if he isn't making himself available then he can only blame himself. He's obviously best when the ball is on the floor, and they all play off each other. But they all seem to have given up Anyway, wheres this press conference?!

Its not a case of how many games do we give him its more a case of how many he's already had. Its a very longtime since he looked anything like able to cope with Premier League football.
