Pwingy9 and the likes of Werrington etc vilified me when I posted in the post (rare but when it mattered) and my posts have been consistent in that I didnt want Mark Hughes at the start, and have slated his football style, and ruination of our pride, and our team. I went today and left 10 mins before the end - just disgusted - now back at my daughters in Oval to droown my sorrows I take no pride in proving idiots like you with no football knowledge to be wrong So its taken 3 years for you to be proven right? Well done you, have a gold star! you fcking genius you!

Come on I've put up with your endless shit that fans are not proper fans were all knicker wetters and many more insults Well come on let's read some more what are the positives for today I'm waiting We scored a goal from open play ?, have not criticised the officials ? and goal difference means nothing as we will finish in the top ten again so there. Is that a glint of positivity I have just read?

Is this seriously what it's come to? Those quicker than others to condemn our current management to the scrap heap quick to stick the boot in. What next, are we all fighting each in other in stands next home game? Grow the fuck up. Accept we all have different opinions. Fucks sake. Grown adults acting like little children. The only positive is that surely we can not gloss over the problems again. something has to give/go whatever. A team seemingly picked on what size shirt fits you and how long have you been with us will never win anything.
The opening goal just staggered me in its ineptitude, it was without doubt the most unwelcome thing our team has ever had. With the start we have had to the season and the pressure everyone is under for that dick Walters who imo has pinched a living at Stoke for years to do that! well I would have left my technical area and dragged him off. I know that doesn't even start to excuse the shit that followed AGAIN, however it certainly set the tone to one of resignation for the team and EVERY FAN knew what was coming next. EVEN PETER COATES who must be having a bet on our relegation as we speak. Pity that at this time the advertising hoardings seem to be more important to him than the UTTER DISGRACE that is playing on the pitch.
If I owned the club I would expect the Manager to resign NOW and Walters to join him with others including the medical staff.
We can not build a club with OLD players unless we are going to play that walking football for over 50s.
We may yet survive this season, but to be fair we don't deserve to , not with how we finished last season and with how we have totally failed to address the issues the team had with only a last minute begging operation even stepping anywhere near what EVERY Stoke fan new was needed.
Cancel the corners being filled in, they will not be required, put your money in your back pocket Peter, better still pay your shop staff some decent wages with it. Pity you don't pay the players National Minimum wage as that's still more than they deserve right now.

This is all bollocks, there should be any happy clappers because we lose, and to try and prove a point because the manager is not doing well is wrong. This is as bad has the Pullis in or out debate got.We are all Stoke fans well I think we are,my opinion is I didn't want MH in the first place, but I always said I would give him a chance, and for two and half seasons he did well.I also said if we carried the second half of last seasons form into this we would be in trouble. He new the problems with the squad he new Butland would be out,he new our CH situation .He has not done anything to put them problems right. Now that might be because he was not allowed, but he spunked 30 million on two midfield players. And left us with a Fucked up CH a 40year old Keeper and no goal scorer.Sorry MH you have caused your own problems and you don't seem to know how to sort it.

I'd have a lot more respect for some of those who are revelling in this situation because they think their opinion is now vindicated if they were consistent and stood their ground even when we are winning. They don't though..they disappear sulking in the background waiting for the first sign of things turning bad and then reappear with the same shit. I realise that doesn't apply to everyone but there are a few who fall into this category. Incidentally..if we beat West brom we will have actually bettered last season after 6 games But not against the corresponding fixtures we won't! [/quote Give me a break..I'm trying to find a positive from today's fiasco

Sorry about delay in posting again had to go into Norwich and pick up youngest son
Now I do think the positive thinkers need to calm down a touch they may well be right in the end hopefully The use of personal insults and overly strong language do nothing to prove your point
I am yet again waiting for a post with good reasons for Hughes to keep his job

OK, since you find it so hard to understand, here's several:
three top ten finishes since he took over generally improved football to watch (generally, but not always, not now especially) we were bottom after six games last year and finished ninth again
all three of those are reasons for him to be trusted with his job for a while yet and not slung out after a poor start
Understand yet?
