No lads, perhaps not what you were thinking In fact a thread about Kate Bush. Our greatest female music artist? I think so. I went in a charity shop the other day and bought The Red Shoes, which was the only one of her albums I didn't have. Thought it might be wank but really impressed! So let's hear it for Kate. Your fave songs/albums please This one is bloody brilliant. Brings a tear to me eye - sentimental sod innit

She's a groundbreaking female artist revered by fans and fellow musicians alike. She absolutely abhors the whole fame thing too. Oh yes, we like the mighty Bush

Hounds of Love is my favourite of her albums, but here are two more gems not from that one:
From one of her "newer" albums
And something from earlier in her career

Doesn't sound like it. Great song though I must be getting old, cause I don't know WTF she is going on about she's singing about personal moments that are special memories to her. The last section is her just reeling them off, means nothing to us but something to her.

This is a current fave, understated beauty off of Aerial. Intriguing double album from 2006.
