I much prefer the blue half of Merseyside to the red half but them losing out on sissoko would be hilarious. Such aspirations with new owners and they've not done an awful lot beyond keeping lukaku and signing a 30+ year old centre half.

Perfect, that's Chelsea blown away 40m and Spurs 30m on players who are either past it or only try when the tv is there.

Everton even without sissoko are going to be a very good team this season , if they get him they will have a great team that I can see finishing higher than there neighbours .

The latest update on SSN is hilarious. Imagine if that had happened to us with one of our targets? Dear old Benjaminbiscuit would have a coronary whilst momo would be demanding Scholes head on a plate

Dear old Benjaminbiscuit would have a coronary whilst momo would be demanding Scholes head on a plate I hope Newcastle remember that they owe Everton one. All day Levy has been telling Newcastle we'll give you £16 million take it or leave it, we won't pay you a penny more. Right at the end of the day Everton offer Newcastle the £30 million asking price and then Spurs immediately say that they do too.

That's absolutely smashing. They've become very deluded. They're far from a 'big club'

Everton have now withdrawn their interest in sissoko. Do you think that was before or after he failed to answer several phone calls, didn't go anywhere near the private jet they'd laid on for him and didn't turn up for his scheduled medical?

Remember the Everton fan on here saying they would be signing champions league quality players Deluded the lot of 'em... They thought arnie would walk away from us to apparently only sit on their bench at best, pffft they've ended up with Bolasie who in my eyes is worse yet paid over double the price... They only have 1 maybe 2 CL quality players at best (baines and Lukaku) yet expect to attract CL players without CL football! We've ended up having a better window than they have and haven't spent half of what they have... rant over

It doesnt really paint Levy and Spurs in a great light either does it. He spends two weeks offering half the market price unsettling players, then decides to get involved at the eleventh hour. Bloke's a fucking cunt.

Everton withdraw interest in Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko, Sky sources understand.
"It was us who didn't want him. Joke's on you, Spurs. Ner-ner!"
