Good team, not convinced about diouf on the right mind, happy geoff partners shawcross against lukaku. Would of played adam but imbula in a 3 might look the part. Not a bad line up

That's Wollscheid gone then by the looks of it. Which in turn strengthens the likelihood that a defender is coming in So we now need two centre halts Not at all convinced by that team selection

Wolly and Joselu have played their last games for us, then? N'Goy on the bench is nice to see. Strange that we have moved away from playing a number 10. Crouch is not too mobile and could get isolated unless Diouf cuts inside to support him.

Two new centre backs are needed imminently. We can't survive a season with Cameron playing there. Is Muniesa injured again? I think this will be: Given Bardsley Shawcross Cameron Pieters Whelan Allen Imbula Diouf Crouch Arnie i don't believe muniesa is injured. He's been 4th choice since last season.

Allen in Bojan role could be interesting... We won't have a Bojan role mate. We'll play 4-1-2-3, with Whelan as the one and Allen and Imbula as the two, same as last week.

I'm glad Hughes has changed something though, I've looked at previous team sheets and thought "looking good" and we do fuck all
We need something to happen and doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is stupid

Christ Hughes must be thick, can't he remember Diouf on the wing DOESN'T WORK Who says he's on the wing? You are assuming. I doubt he will be upfront with Crouch there, who else on the right wing ?

Wollscheid could be injured, of course, after he did something in the build up to Man City's third.

Odd team... Not convinced. 27/8/16 We finally agree on something. That starting line up has "smashed" all over it. Crouch with no Adam? Allen in the Whelan role? No bojan? I fear for this XI. Prove me wrong Stoke.

Disappointed with Diouf out wide as this has shown several times that it does not work. Bolder selection would have been Ramadan and he could switch wings with Arnie periodically and keep Everton guessing.

I think this will be: Given Bardsley Shawcross Cameron Pieters Whelan Allen Imbula Diouf Crouch Arnie We only managed 9th with him covering for an injured Shawcross most of last season. Doom merchant. Thankfully we'd already got enough points to scrape over with him in.

4-3-1-1-1 (4-3-2-1) with Arnie drifting with Diouf who's drifting behind Crouchy or 4-4-2 and lump it up the middle ?
Don't Everton play that 3-5-2 with Baines pushed up? Cut out their midfield.

4-3-1-1-1 with Arnie drifting behind Diouf who's drifting behind Crouchy or 4-4-2 and just lump it up the middle ? Don't Everton play that 3-5-2 with Baines pushed up? Cut out their midfield. They're 4-2-3-1 today.
