There is a growing school of thought, both in the media, and indeed a lot of my American friends that Crooked Hillary is going to withdraw from the race, probably on medical grounds, but really to protect her own ass, and Bernie Sanders is waiting in the wings to get the nod... The more we hear about The Clinton Foundation, Her lies over E Mails, her lies to Benghazi victim's families, her alleged ill health, the more I think this is a very real possibility... That's utter bullshit. By a "growing school in the media" do you mean the bat shit crazy alt. right websites that nobody with an ounce of common sense pays any attention to? Today's Telegraph, Mirror and Mail all asking what if... I am absolutely convinced Bernie will step in, and that this has been planned for weeks, as it stands now Trump will beat Clinton, but Sanders will win back swaying voters and probably win the election.

Yes, sorry about that. I meant 2004. No problem. With regards to the 2004 election, there was a shit ton of flag waving, chest thumping, pro-military, "let's get Saddam!", going on over here at the time. Kerry was attacked over his spotty military service, and Bush was lauded for his handling of 9/11 (I'm not kidding). Even so, it was the smallest margin of victory ever for an incumbent president. Having won his first term with less votes than Gore, with the help of some shenanigans in Florida, I don't think it's fair to say Americans elected the guy because we lacked the capacity to understand Gore's or Kerry's more "sophisticated" message. All in all Kerry, Gore, and Bush were very similar in their backgrounds, all children of politicians, all served in reserve military roles, etc. and though they differed slightly on some issues, at the end of the day they were all moderate candidates that we're going to reward the corporate interests that got them elected. Many Americans are disillusioned by our two party system, which is why we are lucky if we get voter turnouts around 50%. I'd expect the 2018 election will be much the same. I was in West Palm Beach during the 2000 election. Recount after recount. The hanging chad debate. There was Jesse Jackson campaigning for an inquiry and then BOOM the State announces this count is the last. Bush wins Palm Beach so wins Florida and becomes President. Queue the marching bands. I watched the final result in a bar and nearly fell off my chair laughing when I was told the Governor was Jeb Bush. The taxi ride home was funny. The driver was beside himself with disbelief. He was calling Bush a red neck and "even his friggin' wife calls him Bubba!"

He's from Maine, and developed the accent after he went to college in Texas. It really is a circus over here.

Even the seemingly good ones like Obama spent over one BILLION dollars to get the job !! Holyfuckamolie!!

Someone should tell sky news because it's literally on a loop all morning Yeah I think it's all been resolved now, his video is back-up & the Hillary camp are panicking. They've tried to cover it up & failed, the 'excuse' they gave hasn't washed with anyone (If Hillary really had pneunmonia why was she out hugging kids?!) Now all the talk is about Hillary having to drop out, or the election delayed or some bollocks.

Ahh...That's why she coughed for 5 minutes in Ohio last week. She is fucked, and as I keep saying, the next POTUS will be Bernie Sanders. The mechanism is quite simple. She can not be thrown out, she has to withdraw, then each member of Congress and I think all the senators ( basically the MP's) all bet one vote as to who they want to step in...Tim Kaine will automatically still be the winners running mate , or Vice President, and therefore is not entitled to stand for the post, it is almost certainly gonna be a 2 horse race between Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, and as I stated months ago, this has all been planned as a vote winning, or keeping, twist to defeat Trump...HRC simply can not win, lies, fraud, health, all the mistakes...

I agree with much of that, except my prediction is Senator Elisabeth Warren. The Democrats have hammered the girl power angle for so long in the campaign, the groundwork has been done.

Absolute Horseshit. The health questions will all be forgotten within a week. It's little more than clutching at straws from a desperate Trump camp, knowing full well they will get their arses handed to them in November.

Interesting that he sees it as weakness that she's continuing to campaign while suffering pneumonia, while conveniently avoiding the fact that as a healthy 20 year old man, he dodged the draft because he had a sore foot. The man's a fucking clown.

We'll see. The Dems are already discussing a replacement scenario... But that can't be true, as you have said it is horseshit...

Trust me when I tell you he's all over the media over here, along with his team of cronies, having a field day over her health. It's been going on for the past two weeks, even prior to her fainting episode on Sunday.

Just as a by-the-by: John Hinckley, the man who attempted to assassinate President Ronald Reagan, was released last Saturday (10th September), having spent the last 35 years in a Washington D.C. mental hospital. I'm just mentioning this as it relates to a past President and it's current news, that's all.

Donald Trump is rumoured to be going to a big college football game today, Ohio State Buckeyes at Oklahoma Sooners. It's not confirmed though.
Ohio is a key marginal so it makes sense, plus it gives him a chance to get up on his feet and applaud and so on at a public event in contrast to Hilary at the 911 memorial last week.
Gooooo on Donald!

The first televised presidential debate of the campaign is next Monday. Trump must be feeling confident after his performances in the Republican debates.
As for Hilary, who knows? She needs to be in good physical shape because her well-being will be under scrutiny. She'll give her "little girl" hope drivel, make out Trump is unstatesmanlike, then empty out her colostomy bag in the advert breaks.
