You will be wanting padded heated seats next. Seriously though the family club bullshit never washed with me and as many others have said we may be premier league on the pitch (despite yesterday's game) but in terms of a lot of things off the pitch we are still in league 1 territory.

A better show on the pitch would have helped yesterday. I suppose the club think that with the season ticket prices being the third lowest that's a fair attitude to take when considering the facilities but they need to up a gear like they have with the corporate facilities. Been bombarded with emails offering this that and the other in the corporate sections; I'm not interested in joining the posh seats brigade just yet. I would however have expected ut would some improvement in the current facilities elsewhere instead of having prices put up again for the same poor fare.

Dear Mark
Your very lucky the umpteenth hammering in the last 12 games or so Wasn't greeted with a lot more " atmosphere " How about sort your own house out and we will do our bit . There is a post on here which lists the hammerings own after the other and it's very very sobering reading and should be on the wall outside Clayton wood when everyone arrives Monday. Not that's it's very clear what they do when they get there . The management team , players and transfer team have been utter garbage week after week since January and its time to man up or move on . It's time for warriors and big hearts not tight hanstrngs , ink art and gloves , before years of hard work is tossed away . Big big changes in personnel . Attitude and professionalism next week if we aren't to surrender again to another walloping to a resurgent Everton .

Watching Hughes yesterday he was quite animated and spent a lot of the time in the the technical area and did try to get the crowd going. No problems with that just sort the issues out on the pitch and you won't need to try and get the crowd going.
Despite the performance I've still woke up with no voice (and that's not due to booing or moaning either)

A few thoughts why perhaps the crowd are quiet and the atmosphere is now none existent . .We charge our own fans to drink in our own bar on our own ground £2 every single home game .We then serve warm flat beer at £4 a pint once our fans are in the bar having paid £2 to get in and have no heating through the winter months in there. .We have a website that just allow ticket purchases on an iPad and we don't show real amount of tickets left - and when raised no1 has the manners to reply .50% of the players don't acknowledge the fans that have been there through thick and thin every week whether that be before the game or after the game ( even our captain) and people moan at those that don't stay till the end. I'm stoke through and through but this "family club " stuff needs calling out! You wouldn't treat family like that. As a father of a 6 year old boy who was told he could only use his ticket for his membership last year on an evening game during school term my love for my club has started to become diluted. Is it just me lads or what????? Take what happens on the pitch out of it for a moment we are far from looking after our supporters. You seem to have the full stops at the start of each sentence rather than the end Apart from that, I like your idea, lashings of well kept beer at a keen price is definitely is definitely the best way to get through a thumping home defeat and still retain a smile on your face

I drive down the game and don't need a beer to get myself going. Just a bit of passion from the players does it for me

On the subject of expensive beer.
I live in Hanoi at the moment and you can get half a pint of "bia hoi" for the equivalent of 20p. It's about 3% so weak but you'll find it's easy enough to get a nice buzz on it without anyone get lairy and wanting a scrap. Also I don't need to piss with it half as much as I do when I'm getting tanked up with beer at home. If clubs are worried about causing trouble then they should consider selling lower percentage beer but making it affordable.

Hughes tries to get the crowd going because said crowd are jaded at our website and are stupid enough to pay to get into a makeshift bar?
What?

I don't think Hughes knows his head from his arse since last season and without doubt doesn't understand the meaning of defending.
I hadn't got a clue yesterday who was supposed to be where, at one point wasn't Imbula CF ?? Players were all over the place and the phrase " you could a bus through that gap" fits nicely with our defence and midfield.
Awful, awful performance yesterday Man City were good but I thought we could get something from the game at 1-2 down.
There was only player who I enjoyed watching yesterday which was Joe Allen but the rest were really poor or garbage.
Yesterday was painfully bad to watch but it's becoming more frequent based on the end of last season's results and I'm confident in saying that Hughes hasn't got a clue what to do about it and won't address poor players by replacing them.
I really think that season could be a disaster.

I could even live with a £4 pint if I could actually get to a fucking bar, the service is ridiculous. I won't miss the last bit of the first half, but that also means there's sod all chance of getting through that eight-deep queue that rapidly forms.

I think lack of atmosphere is a premiership wide issue for most clubs Palace have their singing section and Leicester are buzzing but apart from that its quiet in most home areas.
I don't understand why fans are charged to go into the bar or why the club cant be arsed to link up with some of the many local breweries now and serve some decent ale
I think we could learn a lot from Germany where the fans seem closer to the clubs but I don't think it will happen here .
Our opponents yesterday seem to understand how to treat fans well and have a really good fan zone for families to enjoy decent pre match atmosphere
One thing we could do is when the corner is filled in , designate that an unreserved singing area , that might help the noise levels a bit

I am beginning to wonder if Mark Hughes & his backroom team are a bit to comfortable seeing as peter coates is not renown for sacking people at the drop of a hat. I hope i am wrong but things need to change & quick because since xmas last year its been dire.

Its a damn shame we couldnt have an outside bar fair enough it would be subject to weather but it would relieve a lot of pressure and there's obviously nothing that can be done about the size of the concourse.

Don't know why they don't use rails and bars so that a proper queue can be formed. I get a drink before the match and only go on the concourse for a pee at halftime. Gave up trying to get a drink years ago.
