Waggy, you have a choice. I was fortunate enough to be elected for a general seat last week, so you are spared the anxiety ! Thanks to all who voted. The turn out was extremely healthy I am told and I hope it continues for these seats

I'm afraid there is an error here. The rules of the Council restrict voting in the specialist categories to the people in those categories, for very obvious reasons. Relevant extract below (my emphasis)
Each of the following categories will be entitled to one seat elected from the electorate within that category.
- 1x Registered Disabled supporter - 2x Season Card holders sitting in the family area, one of whom must be aged under 18 - 1x Corporate member - 1x Season Card holder in the Q-railing Stand Upper Tier - 1x Season Card holder in the Q-railing Stand Lower Tier - 1x Season Card holder in the Boothen End sponsored by Staffordshire University - 1x Season Card holder in the Novus Stand other than the Family Area - 1x Season Card holder in the Marston's Pedigree Stand - 1x Season Card holder, must be aged under 18
However, the club website invites all season tickets holders and members to vote in the current election for representatives of supporters in the family stand, corporate members or supporters with disabilities. Just to test it I entered my details and the voting form came up to allow me to vote, even though I am not in any of those categories. It would be wrong to enable me to vote on who should represent those groups of supporters.

Hi Ange
As I asked the other day, would you please ask the club for the actual figures that each candidate received and then publish them on here.
Many thanks

Good luck. Personally think it's been fixed after that Bear Pit guy got in.

Waggy, happy to listen to anyone! I look forward to hearing from you. You can DM, email chair@scfcsc.co.uk or we can even meet pre or post match! Thanks for your support. I may appear calm, but during the 90+ mins of a game, sometimes I am not so calm!

Might be best if you e-mail the club and ask for the figures. Why, do you not have any faith that the Supporters Council will be bothered to ask on our behalf?

Wasn't being serious mate but I do question the lack of transparency in regards to the number of votes everyone got. I see no reason why Ange or another member can't get this information directly.

No but I'm pretty sure it's something you could ask, you have always struck me as one of the more sensible posters if you like I'll ask for you ? Not a problem and if I get a response I'll let you know.

Dunno Fozzy might be that the candidates don't want it to be public, be a bit of a shame if one got zero votes and they get published. Might be any number of things but as with Paul Spencer's post I'll e-mail the club and ask.

It just seems bizarre to me that the Council won't/can't ask the appropriate person, I'm sure they've got a far better idea who to ask than I do.
At the end of the day, isn't that exactly the reason that they're there ... to provide a conduit between the supporters and the club?

It is but come on there are plenty of contacts on the SCFC board try the info e-mail address and I'm sure it will find the way to the appropriate person, that's what I would/ will do. Like I said though Paul I'll ask if you want and if they reply I will post it up.

I get the vibe you dont trust the Supporters Council or think they are secretive, crap waste of time ? Correct me if I'm wrong no offence intended but if you ask no issues about being getting the truth straight from the horses mouth.

Mate I was on the Fans Forum for two years ... you couldn't be further from the truth.
I made a really, really simple request of them (look at my original post and how it was worded), you sir have turned it into a bit of an issue, lord knows why you've chosen to do so and lord knows why the Supporters Council seem reluctant to respond to the original request in the first place?

I still haven't got the slightest clue why you decided to make an issue out of a simple request being made.
But hey, hopefully they'll ask on our behalf ...

I dont think I have Paul I just suggested you ask yourself and for that it seems to have touched a nerve and caused offence so I'll say it again no offence intended.
