Top 10 finish and a decent cup run.
I think it's going to be harder to finish in the top 10 this year than it was last year.

out of interest, in what way are Everton "Rejuvenated" exactly?
new manager yes but pretty much everyone they've tried to buy they've missed out on and are likely to lose Lukaku and Stones before the end of the window. a new manager may (and only may) have some effect but not signing anyone and very likely losing 2 of your best players doesn't spell "Rejuvenation" to me. if i was an Everton fan i'd be massively disappointed in their transfer inactivity so far given the massive amounts they apparently now have available to them

I expect a Manchester battle for the title with Liverpool being helped by every ref to steal 3rd. After that the usual crowd of Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs Oh and the new BIG club West Sham along with Southampton ,Leicester and a resurgent Everton. Top 10 for us this season is a massive ask especially with no new defender and UN BLOODY BELIEVABLY still no striker or a good back up keeper. Lessons it seems have not been learned from last season and I fear we are going to take a small step backwards. A striker and a back up keeper along with a replacement for Ryan should his back go again should have been PRIORITY signings before any others were even thought about.
Call me a miserable, pessimistic fat git all you want but you know I'm right. I'm sure that these have been top priorities mate. But wanting is a million miles away from procuring in this this league, even if you have a player in your sights. Just look at the Berahino soap opera and how long that has dragged on and on. Plus in this era of £13m on the table before negotiations even start, Hughes will want to make sure players he's bidding for as back ups are better than he already has in the squad. I take your point however when your need for a striker is as desperate as ours then you do not put all your eggs in one basket especially a West Brom basket.

When I rattle a lot of our players names off in my head I think wow we'll do well. But something is just lacking at the moment that stops it all coming together on the pitch. Be it a forward, another strong centre back to give the attacking players the confidence to go forward, the formation? I don't know what it is but I have every confidence hughesy will tie it all together by the end of August. Your first paragraph is exactly my view. I don't think it is a player/position that we are particularly missing (but would like to strengthen in all the usual suspect departments), but rather a lack of fire/desire. When we are up for it we can rip teams apart, but it seems that we seldom have everyone busting a gut to win. Weird, that used to be a big strong point of any Stoke team.

I think with a really good central defender signed we could easily look at Top 10 again
However without I think we could end up 12th, maybe 13th.
Another cup final would be great

I really hope we play some good football. That means moving the ball a lot quicker especially at home. More shots, more crosses and more action in the opposition box. That's what I hope for. What I expect is more tippy tappy fannying around and a low goals output.
When we get a corner or set piece I expect nothing but I fully expect the opposition to score every time the ball is crossed into our box.
Dont feel very optimistic to be honest. Hope I'm wrong!

Barring Jack getting injured and hopefully with Ryan on full-cylinders we can aim for mid-table, it'll be tougher this year but I expect we'll be in the 10-12th position at the end of the season. Adding Saido up top & adding cover for CB may, just, push us into the PL's "2nd tier" fist-fight with the Saints, Leicester, Hammers and Toffees - we're very close to a real wonder year (anything in top-8) but just need Peter to reach into his pocket a couple more times to make it happen...
