In the Sun, Nixon's claiming he's the best paid player at the club on 75k. He was widely reported to be on 45k at Liverpool (although that deal was signed in the very different football world of 2012!) It does become clear why the deal went smoothly if that's true  |

It does become clear why the deal went smoothly if that's true That's the ceiling for the likes of Shawcross and I'm guessing Arnie will be on that too. Can't imagine it will be too long before we sign our first £100k a week player which is just mental when you think we were scratching around for the likes of Tonge and Soares in our first season..... |
