Just a bit of curiosity I guess as I can't see him being happy at being no.2 and no I'm not saying we should try to sign him I'm just curious where he would go? Chelsea have Courtois, Arsenal have Czech, Man U have De Gea, Spurs have Lloris

He might be part exchanged for Butland - I wonder how much cash we'd get? Hart plus £10 million? I'd snap their hand off.

Can't see Guardiola wanting Butland for the same reasons he won't want Hart.

That's an interesting point but I can't imagine Joe Hart loving West Brom Might not have much of a choice When you look at it you're probably right. Although I'm pretty sure I heard that Guardiola has said he will start the season as their number one, so it's up to him to keep his place, and he's been top drawer for Man City for 12 months to be fair to him.

There's still a good keeper in there somewhere, he'd get a good club no problem

He might be part exchanged for Butland - I wonder how much cash we'd get? With butlands age and the silly prices i think butland himself has to be worth £35m as mad as it sounds, tomkins £12m, kante (one great season) 30m.

If De Gea left Man Yoo then I'd be worried. A goalkeeper who is good with his feet is as big a myth as the footballing centre half. Show me a keeper who is better with his feet than his hands and I'll show you a crap keeper. Show me a centre half who is better on the ball than he is at defending and I'll show you a crap centre half.

Show me a centre half who is better on the ball than he is at defending and I'll show you a crap centre half. That's ace Dave. Guardiola wants a keeper who is as good with his feet as his central midfield is. Hart is woeful and will have to do a lot to improve. Man City fans views I've read expect to see him last longer than a few months. Valdes was a desperately average goalie but Guardiola picked him for his work with the ball at feet, unless he's had a philosophy change this won't change.
