Danny Drinkwater must be tearing his hair out. He'd have been great to have on the bench ready to bring on for fresh legs. He's more dynamic than Henderson and actually takes the ball with him when he runs

Woy picks a squad light on wide men, then plays 4-3-3 and has to stick forwards out wide. None of those three are perfect, but at least they would give us options we do not have at present.

Don't even get me started on the lack of wingers. He takes Sterling, who looks like someone impersonating a winger, and leaves Townsend, who was in form and has never let England down, at home. I'm not his biggest fan but he's direct and could have given us an 'out' ball. Anyway too late now...we'll keep it narrow, hope Walker and Rose give us the width with Lallana flitting either side of Alli and Rooney. Kane up top and hope that class is permanent and form temporary. Hart, Walker, Cahill, Smalling, Rose, Dier, Alli, Rooney, Lallana, Kane and whoever else fits the bill at the time!!!!! I thought that last spot may have been Wilshere's once he'd found some fitness but I was as aghast as Woy when he imploded against Slovakia; he visibly ran out of steam to a point when he couldn't function.

How well Walker and Clyne have played so far, I'd be tempted to start one at right back and one at right midfield!

I can understand what you mean but that would be tantamount to Hodgson admitting he was wrong in the first place. Sterling will still get gametime I reckon.
