Kane at 28/1 (at the time) for the golden boot is a great price.

I've had Arnie to be Austria's top goal scorer at 6/1. Also a nibble on Delli Ali to be top England scorer at 12/1.

Outrights TEAM Portugal 20/1 - They've shortened a little since their 7-0 vs Estonia last week but still think they're value at 14/16s. They're on the easier side of the draw and think they've been really overlooked. The U21s won the Euros last year and a fair few such as Silva, William Carvalho are in this team now as well. They have experience at the back in Pepe/Carvalho and their spine looks really strong. Obviously Ronaldo is the key and if he fires, Portugal fire bt with Quaresma back in the team and Nani too, their isnt so much weight on just him anymore. If they win their group, which they should, then their only real test comes against Spain/England in the semis and anything can happen from there on.
TOP SCORER When looking in this market, you want proven scorers, guaranteed starts and a team that will go far. Penalty takers ate a huge plus for the bigger teams and set piece specialists such as Payet, sigurdsson, are a plus too.
Janko 66/1 - 9 in qualfying, guaranteed to be Austrais main striker with a cracking INT record. Penalty taker, good in the box, good off set pieces, hes a great EW chance. Hungary are the weakest team in the Euros and hopefully he can score vs them and Iceland and Austria go through the groups.
Muller 8/1 - Okay hes the favourite but hes a very worthy fav ahead of the likes of Ronaldo and Griezmann. Hes been in the top 3 top scorers in the last WC and Euros and is a proven top goalscorer for the best international team. He's the penalty taker, hes monsterous in the air and around the box and hes guaranteed to start. His team will go far along with France so more chances to score and Germany are a team who score quite alot unlike a Spain type.
Sigurdsson 200/1 - Total longshot but he could easily get 2/3 in the groups purely from freekicks and penalties. Hes scored a few in recent friendlies and hes their main talisman. Again, wouldnt be lumping on but price is huge for a quality free kick taker/penalty taker.
I'd stay away from Lukaku/Martial/Griezmann. All better for club than country, especially Griezmann, neither of them 3 take penalties for their crountry and all very inexperience tournament wise.

France to get 9 group pts 6/4 Hungary to finish bottom EVENS Slovakia to qualify EVENS Germany to win their group 2/5
14/1 roughly.
France will win their group games, think they will overpower the Swiss even though its a tricky affair. Hungary are the weakest team at the Euros and Portugal/Austria will beat them and hopefully Iceland can beat them/at least draw, think Hugnary will concede a fair bit whereas iceland are tighter at the back. Germany should win their group, think theyll get at least 2 wins and a draw and that the rest will all draw/beat each other. Slovakia to quaify is a mental price. Wales are very weak bar Bale and Russians are in bits with injuries and they're not as good as they once were. Think they can beat Wales today and even give Eng/Russia a game.

Starting with £10, betting on short odds, all winnings go onto next bet. Usually over no. of goals. See how far I can go with it.
Up to £15.35 after two games. Missing the Wales game as I think it might be 0-0. Considering over 1.5 goals for the England game.
Come 30 days i'll be a millionaire Rodney.

Dont bother pal, backing shorties is the worst thing you can do no matter how certain or easy they sound. When backing at anything under 1/2(1.5) then its worthless. If you go on a rough streak and lose 3/4 in a row itll take 10 wins just to get your money back. The bookies want you to pile on short odds because they dont care about the liability of paying you your 25% of stake back. Try and put £100 on a 2/5(1.4) shot and they'll happily take it bt try and put that £100 on a 50/1 horse or 25/1 first scorer and they wont allow you to because of liabilities. Trust me mate if you wanna start betting backing shorties is a bad bad way to get into it.

Tomorrows bets:
Turkey - Croatia
OVER 4.5 CARDS 5/4 7 cards in the last two meetings between these teams and can see it getting fiery. Turks are all dirty as are the Croats so hopefully with it being tight they'll get stuck in early. CROATIA HALF TIME WIN 2/1 In 6 of their last 7 games Croatia have scored in the first half and 6/7 were before the 30th min with 3/6 coming before 20mins so depending how high you want the odds, take advantage of Croatia flying out the blocks. I'm playing it safe in hoping they do it before HT. On the other hand, Turkey are slow away coneding in the first half but then scoring more in the 2nd half. Could be a game of two halves.
Poland - Northern Ireland POLAND -1.5 2/1 Poland were the highest scoring team in the groups with Lewandowski being the top scorer. Smashing 7 past Gilbraltar certainly helped but Germany in the same group as them scored 9 less. Everyone banging on about NIreland being unbeaten in 12 but the best teams they faced in the period were Wales and Russia and they drew vs both of them. I think they're very weak in every area compared to Poland with Poland having Champions League fullbacks wingers and top league Cbs, Europa League winning midfielder and Lewandoswki upfront. Think Poland will be way too good.
With Germany, I think they'll win but I want to see the Poland/NI result and also maybe the teams before getting stuck into it. I think if the game ends in a draw then Ukraine will really go for it and Germany can pick them off and win by a few.

Had bet on germany win, muller top scorer and hazard top scorer @ 40-1 as an outside bet. Thought hazards form picked up a lot towards the end of the season, and he started getting goals, so was coming into the tournament in form.
