The "Airplane" films were funny. ...and don't call me Shirley. First time around the woman getting a good slapping on the plane was hard to beat.

Naked Gun. How George Kennedy kept playing it straight with all the idiocy going on.

I saw Blazing Saddles as a 13 year old in 1987, I had never laughed so much ever, and still laugh out loud when I see it now at 41!
There are some great stupid films - Airplane, Kingpin, any Monty Python as mentioned
But nearly all Mel Brooks classics (I nc Young Frankenstein) are bloody brilliant!

Kentucky fried movie. This was what I was going to put, you just don't see films like this on T.V. anymore. I wonder why?

Wayne's world Life of Brian Ace Ventura Starship troopers (I know it's not supposed to be funny but it made me laugh) :-) I''d have hoped they made Starship Troopers as a satire. The author Heinlein would definitely be a Trumpist if he was still around mind!

Political correctness? Surely you mean humourless wankers. Absolutely. You're not allowed to say anything now that would've been funny in the 70's.

I don't really watch comedies
But this always makes me laugh
The beauty of this is even Palin is really struggling not to laugh at 3mins 30 secs
Great scene

Dumb and Dumber is one of my favourite ever films! But my top spot in the silly stakes has got to go to BASEketball, one of only a few films (including my first choice) that have made me laugh out loud while watching a film! Not watched BASEketball before will give it a watch this weekend. Some great stupid films mentioned though Did you get round to watching it mate?

Rita, Sue and Bob Too from the late 1980s. The best character by far was the pissed up father of one of the lasses. All of the scenes he was in were hilarious. Uncle Buck is also brilliant with some unforgettable one liners. "Hi I'm Buck Melanoma, Moly Russels wart" SUPERB when sitting in front of the headmistress with a huuuuuge mole on her chin!!!

Some unintentional laughter here; hammy acting & classic lines An old, badly acted film always makes me laugh more than a scripted comedy - my nephews & nieces used to love this and when I used to do impressions of the voices..

Hobo with a Shotgun, with Rutger Hauer playing one of his psychotic killer roles with tongue firmly in cheek, was surprisingly entertaining, and hilarious. A fucking great movie to be fair haha

You don't get much sillier than Rubber, the movie about a killer tire.

Watched 'Grimsby' the other night. Better than I expected and very funny. Daft as fuck an all.
Other mentions go to Semi Pro and Top Secret, if only for this scene alone
