Has unfathomably become a figure of ridicule with some fans. The true measure of his worth is asking yourself, how much would it cost to get say a 25 year old goal scoring midfielder who influences virtually every game he participates in, in the biggest league in the world. Answer? Fucking daft money. Yet he's often on the "fuck him off!" list. What has he done wrong? I just don't get it. He's been part of some of our best showings and I would keep him.

He simply has to start games and have a good run in the side to keep his fitness up.Then he won't fail to influence games.
Bringing him off the bench with 20 minutes left when we are 4 down shows neither the player or the manager in a good light.

He needs to stay. A very useful member of the squad.

You are right - he does have the look of a player who would shine in the MLS. Would the lifestyle in Orlando be enough to tempt him away from Blackpool (where he still lives) though! ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/3zptH1h3SvRnVmRGLyMP.gif) Fuck Orlando lakeland, he could come and stop with you in your beautiful part of the country!! Kendal mint cake and Bovril, what's not to like? ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/kwfoKwtHI0jglJZ4qZf6.gif) "Fuck off Orlando"? Do you not realize, Sir that out clubs are now affiliated by agreement between Mssrs Coates and Big Phil? ???? Seems like during the wind down to the season last year it was our Charlie the fulcrum in midfield driving us to new heights.

Bit like my old MK 3 GXL cortina. Big, powerful, (not the quickest car ever) but reliable and started every time. Kept it serviced and ran trouble free. Eventually though newer more modern motors came along and had to sell it for what I could get. The replacement was good but took a bit of getting used to. End of analogy.

Still my favourite player in the current squad, he really plays for the shirt.
He sticks his foot in and tries (badly) too at least defend. That left peg of his is absolutely wonderful.
I hope we keep him next season, rumours that hes going to Rangers as they return to the SPL. Hes still way too good for them, but you can tell Charlie wants to play more games so I fear he may be off as Hughes wont guarantee him game time.

I hope we keep him and he gets into slightly better shape (only really re: lasting the 90)
Would love to see him in a 433 with Imbula and a younger Whelan upgrade in midfield.

He's no Messi or Ronaldo (not the original one, but the Portugese Barbie-doll), but he always give 110% and give us some bite in the midfield. You'll never know when he's going to get a red or yellow card, but it seems like he actualy cares and want to win every match. He's also a player that many opponents hate to play against, and he's incredibly cynical and 'dirty' player. Love him to bits!
