I wanted Spurs to win to try and alleviate the media jizz-fest over everything Leicester. Yesterday on the sky sports app, I counted 29, YES TWENTY NINE articles about Leicester. To be fair, and whilst I'm irritated by the same thing, it is their first ever top flight title. If it was us, i would be expecting nothing less!! On another note... I notice how smoozy Shilton was about being a Leicester player and how much he loves the club yesterday.... I thought it was all about Forrest with him?

With Shilton it depends on where the supermarket is . The one he is openingfor 400 quid cash in hand

Amongst all the adulation for Leicester's achievement let's not forget the role Spurs played in what has to be said has been the best title race I can remember, no multi billionaire bank rolled clubs fighting it out, the top 2 have really stuck it to the usual suspects and how refreshing its been. Some great football played by Spurs too IMO better on the eye than Leicester's, the emergence of some great young talent Dier and Alli to name a couple and probably the best English striker since Shearer in Kane. I have a feeling they will be challenging again for the title next season if they can keep their team together and Pochettino at the helm. Gouranga. Best title race you can remember?? Still 2 games left and its over hows that the best no last day last minute goals etc...last minute sitters missed ,I think the leadership only changed hands once or twice

Spurs finished 5th last season with 64 points. Assuming they win their final 2 games, as expected, they will end 2nd this season on 76 points. Without Leicester's freak season (which is unlikely ever to be repeated) they would have won the league. So yes, they have been unlucky.

It was an amazing end to the season!

they are a massive club with huge financial backing who have given a chance to young english players like kane and delli alli who learn't there craft playing for clubs like leyton orient and mk dons ...and in doing so they have made manchester ( all our subs costs about 30 million ) city look not too clever.

I like the fact that because Leicester and Spurs will occupy two of the top four spots, it will mean two of the so-called 'big boys' will not. Lubby Jubbly. *Note. Just wish West Ham had made it and Arsenal had been pushed out. That would have been even better. OS. Can't have everything! Maybe next year.

Spurs are bankrolled by a billionaire. Bankrolled is laughable. Joe Lewis is the tightest billionaire going. Spurs make their own money. For the past five seasons we have broken even in the transfer market. All the profits have been squirreled away to buy land needed for the new stadium.### I am very proud of Spurs this season. We have the youngest squad and have played some stylish football. That said, all credit to Leicester as they fully deserved the title. Our problem was getting bogged down in the Europa.

I am sure it was unavoidable but had you somehow kept Bale and Modric I think its fair to say you wouldn't be too shabby now!?
