Laughable really. The fact that he keeps making these statements leads me to believe that the player would actually consider a move to us. Shame as he'd be a great addition.....

Great, can we forget about this pie in the sky player now? Why is he making them though? Is it because despite his rhetoric Everton and Stoke are they only ones willing to stump up the cash and pay what he wants, and he's trying to drum up more interest?

Maybe, I just won't ever believe we'll sign a player of this quality with where we are right now.

Great, can we forget about this pie in the sky player now? We'd have signed him last summer if it wasn't for the owner being a twat.

Was shown up in the Europa League, as not that great. We don't need anymore Primadonnas.

Generally speaking the best overseas signings are players few have ever heard of - we've heard far too much about this bloke and his baggage already.

Seemed pretty clear with his comments last summer that Yarmo personally would have no problem signing for Stoke, and Surkis was the only problem.
Oddly Surkis says he'd be quite prepared to sell him to a Chinese club, and accepted a bid last year but Yarmo wasn't having any of it. Bizarre logic

In the reverse scenario is this a similar stand off we're having with Arnie. Create a bit of interest by not signing or committing and if no one wants him, hey presto suddenly he's the loyal little poodle again or downgrade to the next best offer.
Think that's the right way round.

Would be a great replacement for Marko if he were to leave. Well apart from the fact that his main position is on the right whereas Arnie's is on the left! Having said that, Shaq can play on the left (as a conventional winger) so that might be the way to accommodate both.

Did someone from Stoke shit in his cornflakes or something? It sounds like Yarmo wanted to come here and it really pissed this guy off and i don't get why? Mid table teams can actually afford to buy very good players and be competitive in the league and with the new deal coming in it will happen more and more
Good players have already started to filter in to the mid table teams and Yarmolenko hasn't been snapped up by any of the "big" teams has he?

As like last year I think he'll stick to it. It's a matcho society so he won't want to back down.
We need to move on.
