Absolutely annihilated Wes Brom today. I think they've got just the right balance of grit & flair, something we need to try & replicate next season.

They can mix it up and win ugly and also win with style, they've had an excellent season. I wonder if they'll take the Europa seriously next season or show no interest in it again.

Absolutely annihilated Wes Brom today. I think they've got just the right balance of grit & flair, something we need to try & replicate next season. Leicester's success has (rightly) taken the limelight this season, leaving the Hammers progress somewhat in the shadows - but they really have been excellent. Like you said, great balance of grit and flair in the side and the t turn of Carroll has given them another lift over the last few weeks. When he's fit and on form, give him decent service and he's an absolute monster - and that's exactly what they've done. Very good side

West Ham and Leicester both started the season very well indeed and have carried the momentum through to excellent effect. Our poor start didn't just cost us points. It limited our potential for the entire season. After 6 games we were talking about how MH teams always improve throughout the season. Well that's not been the case has it. Drawing at home to Sunderland to 'stop the rot'?... FFS
Maybe we would have followed the usual MH pattern without so many injuries and we all saw the difference that Ryan made when he came back. If we could have started like that we would have seen ourselves in the top 4 early on. Even after just 6 games the confidence and feel good factor that generates cant be underestimated.
Fair play to West Ham anyway.

Disgusting what they're going to be doing with the tax payer but they've got a quality side and a good manager.

The impressive thing about them is that they have kept going virtually all season despite starting their season ridiculously early due to Europa league. Usually teams tail off.
Payet has been their talisman as well.

You mean you're going to completely ignore the fabulous run we were on from mid-September to mid-Jan when we were averaging around 2 point per game in an emphatic surge up the table. If we'd continued in that fashion, we would be comfortably sitting in the top 4 at this stage of the season. In fact in that period, we collected about 15 points more than West Ham did (I know, shocking right?) but then again the only teams that took more points that us in those 4 months were Leicester & Spurs. And then cometh the injuries .....

They saw a opportunity ,negotiated a deal and signed it,it is the the people who were put in charge of the stadium who have screwed up not WHU,remember we did the same when our ground was built.

Point is the start we made handicapped us badly.

He will look at the group again in the summer and get new players in. He wants a trophy here at Stoke and like he said in the week he has unfinished business here at Stoke.

I think Noble is a cracking player. We need someone like him in our midfield.
As for Payet, he is the player we wanted Shaqiri to be.

If west brom had had their shooting Boots on West Ham would have been well beaten in the first half, and that header Gardner missed was a shocker. That 'kiddie' that Pulis played looks a decent prospect

If west brom had had their shooting Boots on West Ham would have been well beaten in the first half, and that header Gardner missed was a shocker. That 'kiddie' that Pulis played looks a decent prospect Agreed - WBA came out the blocks fast, played some decent stuff and easily could have been 2-0 up before we woke up, a bad habit we seem to have. They didn't take their chances though. The 17 year old kid Keke gave Cresswell a torrid time and would seem to have a big future - nearly a Pulis master stroke. Bilic changed a couple of things and from 20mins onward, we controlled the game. The key to our season has been mixing it up to suit the opposition with goals from everywhere (14 different players) and not one in double figures (so far) even though we've scored 60 in the pl. For perspective, we've still only won two more games than Stoke!! Also new signings just seem to get on with it without the acclimatisation usually cited as necessary despite this league being new to most. And although Payet may get the headlines, Kouyate, Antonio, Lanzini and Ogbonna deserve big credit as does of course Bilic who is getting Carroll to play football rather than be some long range spoiler. He's also been ruthless in clearing players out that don't fit. I would have been happy with top 10 and 50 pts at the beginning of the season - but with three games to go, obviously I'm hoping we make Europe. Oh and while Roy is in charge I doubt Noble or any other WHU player will get a look-in - thank God!!

We are sure as hell going to need to be pulling out the stops if we intend to get anything at all. Payet is the obvious big threat but they can hit from pretty much anywhere.
I'd gone Win, Win, Draw for our last three. Missed the first one, just, be more than happy to be correct with the other two. Want us obviously to beat W Ham but to that we've got to more than match them at their own game.
Love to be proved wrong.

The results today mean if we win our last three Swansea, Man U and you lot, and City lose to Arsenal we can get 4th!!
Admittedly they're long odds but whatever the results up to the final game Bilic will come for the win.
