The problem we will have when Arnie goes is that no other player in the squad can take over is role,so we will need to find another Arnie or pay huge transfer fee for someone, and our big spending stars at this moment are toss,we cannot afford anther 10-20 million flop on the books.

I think it's fair to say even if he does leave, Stoke City football club can take the credit for bringing him, in his own words, "back to life" just as Nzonzi was very open in admitting that Hughes was the only reason he became the player he is today. I must say the fact that there is so much interest in some of our players from other clubs is testament to how well our players are developing under current management team.

Undoubtedly one of the most talented players at the club, but like a lot of players not as good as they think they are, 100% effort for 100% of the game and he wouldn't be at Stoke that's for sure. With his attitude and body language, champions league clubs won't be a knocking if that's what he's thinking.

Fantastic again today. We need sign him up asap. He scored a goal and missed a sitter when he blasted the ball half way up the South Stand. Decent performance but Charlie Adam & Crouchie and SJW (when he came on) were much better.

Best player by a country mile and without him we are fucked Absolute bollocks. How fucking disrespectful of the rest of Stokes team who've put a shift in this season.

You could see it in many games this season. If Arni leaves the pitch (injury) or he reduces his efforts, due to 3 goals conceded (game against City), our offensive play is not that powerful, the "Ahh"-effects are missing and the games often become boring, cause we don´t produce dangerous scenes in the opposite penalty area....like yesterday.
To be honest, with his stats and his performance over the whole sesaon, he will definitely get offers by attractive clubs this summer. I hope Stoke City and Arni can find an arrangement, but he is 27 now, the next long term contract is porbably the most important in his carreer and I would understand, if he wants tho play in Euopean competitions.
It´s a pity, cause, after our marvellous games in December, i thought, that Stoke can qualify this season for EL, but our performance has decreased continously in the year 2016, due to massive injury problems and (in my opinion) many mistakes of our manager as well.

Amazing what a bit of positive thinking can achieve.
We can only draw our conclusions from what he delivers week in week out. Yes his body language can reveal things but what exactly. One moment the guy looks like he's given up then he's back defending next second on the end of a Shaq raking pass. Who knows what exactly is going through his head at any one time but he covers a lot of that turf and right now he'd be nigh on impossible to replace like for like for the money. Frustrating about the contract and I want him to stay with us. Forget all this enigmatic poser stuff he's an asset and any half decent company protects their assets. Big hole if he goes.

Jon also fantastic considering he'd not played lately. On the whole there were certain players today who had excellent games and I put arnie in that group

If other clubs judge him on body language alone then he'll be with us for another contract period.
Which in my own opinion wouldn't be a bad thing. If he was a pain in the arse (no pun intended) in the dressing room, aloof etc it would stick out a country mile and it would be plain to see. As for what he's thinking, only he knows the answer to that. Hope he stays, influential piece of a complicated jigsaw.

He is our biggest attacking threat that's for sure! Love or hate him, but he is one of our most important players right now. Will be very hard to replace if he goes. A winger scoring 11 goals in the leage + a lot of assists must be a coveted player.

Yes, I will, but in the first line i will follow Arni´s carreer if he changes within the Premier League, and it´s hard to watch several games at the same time cause I´m a fan also of Werder Bremen in Germany. Sky won´t broadcast anymore PL games in Austria next season too. Arni is (together) with Alaba the biggest asset of the Austrian Football, and i enjoy to watch him playing soccer. Stoke City will ever be in my heart and i like to discuss on this board.

Marko Arnautovic is a good player there is no question about that but for me he doesnt seem happy. Even when he scored yesterday he didnt look happy. I dont think hhe will sign a new contract because i feel he doesnt want to be here and that kind of attitude will upset the rest of the dressing room and that we dont need. No player is bigger than the club and no player is irreplaceable. Players will come and go but we have survived before and will again

I really hope he signs, I don't think he will and I think he'll end up on PSG's bench. Which is a step up but he'll get dogs abuse and it'll all be sad. And people thought Walters played well yesterday?

No player is bigger than the club and no player is irreplaceable. Players will come and go but we have survived before and will again I'm old enough to remember Wayne Biggins kissing his badge after scoring as we beat Mansfield 4-0 away, he joined Barnsley a few days later. Walters plays with a big smile yet was throwing his toys out of the pram very publicly during hid contract negotiations. I don't think Arnie is unhappy at Stoke, for my money any unhappiness that comes across in his body language is because he's a perfectionist, he expects to score, not only score but score good goals tap in's aren't things that will have him doing somersaults. He was probably also still narked over his first half miss too, wasn't it West Ham away when he got a goal in the last few minutes and was having a go at the linesman for disallowing one of his goals. That's just his way.

Came away really disappointed yesterday. I thought we should have won this game easily. I'm in no doubt that the squad as a whole needs strengthening. We will struggle to compete with the big boys next season, I'm convinced of that. If everyone is happy to just sit in mid table in the Prem, I'm not. From what looked to be a fantastic season (again, injuries have played a part), it's been a massive let down as to where we finish. There are a number of our player's that need improving on IMHO. If nothing else next year, I want to see something in the trophy cabinet, otherwise, for all my ranting at the games and the build up to them, and the two to three days after we get beaten ( which I generally have a monk on), will all be a complete waste of time. It is all about the game in my view, and nothing else matters!

Better than he thinks he's is...
Doesn't give 100% all of the time...
And the best of the lot..Walters was better than him when he came on yesterday..
I think Tony Scholes needs to start running a 'Fuck Off Up The Vale' shuttle service pronto.

Arnie will move I agree for football or money reasons is the question, why people have to bring SJW into the discussion I don't know,he has been out for a few weeks and was most proberley not match fit, that's what people say when our 12million pound ice skater plays, but SJW did lay on a pass for our 18million pound super star to score to win the game sorry he missed and with him costing 18million he must be good.
