I tend more to the sceptical but I agree stay away from ouija. Not enough haunted tanks in it for a low pressure gas tap like you. Anyway Cheeeeese...when can we expect Ghosthunter Part II? Any plans for a Poltergeist special? Are you going to be getting any of your own gear? You could take a metal detector and tell them you modified the circuitry to pick up stray ectoplasm... Good stuff mate.

Good stuff mate. I'll keep putting mesen forward for the psychic research mate. If the opp arises I'll share it on here. I'll get another ouija going soon enough I reckon. The Detectorists are coming back apparently too.

As a young boy we lived in a house on South Walk in Meir. One night I was suddenly woken and lay absolutely frozen in bed unable to move a muscle when I watched an unknown figure walk right across my bedroom. On another occasion my sisters woke up screaming in the night saying they saw a man and his dog in their room. And my dad saw a shadow of a woman walk across the landing when he was on his own one night.Apparently the local priest was called in who confirmed there were spirits in the house. And he put in a report to the council who then moved us to another house.

Superb band. One of the most innovative bands of the late 70s early 80s.

My Mum had that with some Native American fella when we were visiting the states ages ago. She's convinced it was the nearby burial ground... but my bet's on sleep paralysis and hallucination. That's supposed to be pretty common, convincing and scary although they say it's behind the succubus myth and if they look like this then I'm not sure I see the problem! I'm gonna look pretty stupid being so skeptical if all these ghosts and things turn out to be real but as soon as I get back to the UK I'm looking for haunted houses because it's the only way a young lad can afford a mortgage these days!

1st track of the cd "4 rooms" 'Churches' by Jacob Kirkegaard.
"This work is a sonic presentation of four deserted rooms inside the 'Zone of Alienation' in Chernobyl, Ukraine. Jacob Kirkegaard deliberately picked rooms that once were active meeting points for people: A church in village Krasno, an auditorium, a gymnasium and a swimming pool in Pripyat.
The sound of each room was evoked by sonic time layering: In each room, he recorded 10 minutes of it and then played the recording back into the room, while at the same time recording it again. This process was repeated up to ten times. As the layers got denser, each room slowly began to unfold a drone with various overtones." Youtube
Ghosts? Yes and very definitely no.

Spent the last 25 years working in old buildings - former hospitals, lunatic asylums, workhouses, WW2 bunkers / posts / bases, castles, manor houses and churches - quite often on my own - and I can honestly say that I have never once had a weird or spooky experience that I thought stemmed from the paranormal. Mind you the living (cable thieves, druggies, down and outs) have scared the sh*t out of me loads of times in the same places. I keep an open mind, though, and it does interest me how things like sounds can behave in odd ways in large, empty buildings; for example, you could swear a dog was barking in the next room but it could be outside and two or three houses away.
