Heh heh. This just sneaks in. This is MY Fleetwood Mac :-) :-) I heard a discussion on 5Live this week about a youth club who booked Fleetwood Mac just before Albatross was released. They honoured the booking and played when it was at number one in the charts.
The female presenter said she would love to have known what Buckingham and Nicks thought about having to play there.
1969 so it's near enough

These were booked to tour the US as "Fleetwood Mac" about '73. Elmer Gantry of Velvet Opera on vocals.

A great "lost" classic album from the '70s.

Buckingham and Nicks didn't join the band until '74 though.

A generation knew the lyrics to this song...now it's Roots by Show of hands
My most hated song ever. The girl I was with at the time broke my heart and this was playing. Even hearing it on the radio makes me switch it off even now after 20 odd years.

It was a long, long time ago and you can still remember? I know Even after all the alcohol I've drank and head injuries I've sustained through varying non football related accidents. Lol Fortunately I've found someone way better but the song is still banished in my house.
