Sentinel now saying it will be confirmed Friday when the Champions League draw is made and only if MC's SF first leg is on the Tuesday will the Stoke game be brought forward. If its on a Wednesday the Sunday Stoke fixture stays as it is. Ek Which is what was reported about the potential fixture change.

Whose decision is it? Surely Man City will want to play on the Saturday regardless of whether they're playing on the Tuesday or the Wednesday. It's a televised game either way and they won't revert to the Saturday unless it's needed as sky will try to avoid a clash with ITV Everton v WHU/ MUFC semi final which is also Saturday @ 5:30pm

Surely we want our English teams to do well in the UCL?? Shouldnt the game be on saturday to give Man City the best chance of progressing to the final?

If its on a Wednesday the Sunday Stoke fixture stays as it is. Ek Which is what was reported about the potential fixture change. The original communication wasn't though. The very first information about the fixture was that if Man City qualified for the Semi Final of the Champions League, then the fixture would move from midday on Sunday to 5.30pm on the Saturday. There was then a second release, which I didn't see myself but was told about, that apparently said it was subject to the date of their opening semi final fixture. As always, as clear as mud at all times. I don't normally care when the fixture is. I've paid particular interest in this one though because it is my Stag do. I don't really care which date and time the fixture is, but would rather know so the 10 of us can book travel arrangements and finalise our plans. It's all a bit ridiculous and the clubs apparent confusion as well means that as mere supporters, we've got no chance of understanding what is going on or likely to happen.

Just about sums up the club behind the scenes. Premier league on, and league 2 off it. More like effing unibond.

Yes it was, the first communication from the club when they announced ticket prices was that if Man city were to get through to the semi final then the game would be moved to the Saturday
