Very impressive today. Ranks amongst the best defensive displays I've ever witnessed. Imperious at the back, cool and always looking for the best 'out'. Some brilliant defence to attack passes.
From my seat the pass that's causing controversy was another one of his launchpads that was handled. Handball ref! It was a perfectly weighted ball with a touch of the Wolfman's undercut backspin twat. No blame apportioned here. Really enjoyed watching Wollscheid today. Bargain.
Merge.

Immense
That's my last word on it thought as it will be hijacked by the Huth brigade

Well said that man. I for one was shouting for handball but this ref let it go along with many bookings.

He was excellent. The only bad thing about him at the moment is that it's somehow become acceptable to sing Achy Breaky Heart at football.

He was superb today.
The way that Wollscheid has stepped up this season has been unbelievable after his shaky start last season.
The bloke has pretty much held a back four together that has been ravaged by injury all season and is right up there with the contenders for player of the season.
Quality centre half.

Thank you to the OP. Thank you. I thought I was going mad at the game. Getting pelters around me yet he was outstanding.
I think I need to move seats.

This is the beauty of the 'rotational' season ticket. In Block 19 amongst sweet wrappers and Arnie beraters today. No one around me doubted Phil. It's brill to soak up the various atmospheres of the ground. Novus for Spurs. Shhhh.

He was MOM until that pass.
You can say what you want about him but it's another mistake that has lead to another goal. It's what he does.
His reaction to it being the worst bit.
He was class though other than that one really shit moment.

Yes, he was brilliant today, he'd be even better with Shawcross next to him.
He was my MOTM today by far.

He's an ok defender but not great. I'm sure we could do better.
Whilst he has good parts to his game he makes too many mistakes. I've not done or seen an analysis. However, I bet if one was done to work out who was at fault for each goal this season he would have the highest faults by far.

He was class though other than that one really shit moment. I didn't think it was a particularly shit moment or any sort of fuck up. Wouldn't swap him for anyone I've seen this season at the back. A rangy ball that was met by the elbow of the retreating oppo. Can't see how we'll ever do better than Wolly. Embrace the jazz hands.

He messed a simple pass up that lead to a goal and then instead of getting back he berated the ref??? It was poor. But that's Wolly.

Wolly has completely won me over. First few times I saw him he was truly dreadful. I never thought he would turn into the class act he is now.

Apparently that pass never happened, it is a figment of the imagination it had nothing at all to do with their goal that's what certain posters are claiming, if you do claim that the pass that did not happen lead to their goal you are a knob jockey , the saying I think goes something along the lines of there is non so blind as those that can not see. Or maybe they are just blinded by the brilliance of the wolf man, some seem to have a fetish for him and spend most of their time stroking themselves about their hero.

Beckenbaueresq in my opinion.
So classy on the ball, and as strong as an ox.

You've actually given Wollscheid a little bit of praise tonight, but it's through the grittiest of gritted teeth and also hidden behind more critiscm for a player who has been, without any doubt whatsoever, our best defender all season.
