If he does play he needs to step up and stop losing the ball so easily as he was doing before being rightly dropped, lets hope he's back to his best and mesmerising the opposition into surrender. Exactly. No matter who you are, you do your talking on the pitch.

I particulalrly hate injuries born of relatively meaningless friendlieshowever, on the up side we have got some lovely alternatives now (definitely got to stiffen up the defensive side of the squad in the summer though) really? can't believe you've been so quiet about it so far since the England game At the same time, theres has been a 71% decrease in the number of posts demanding the corners be filled

Hopefully the break away from the first team has helped him. He was starting to struggle probably because of his injury last season. Like everyone else knows he is great to watch and the sooner he is back firing the better. I think hughes has had moments this season where his decisions have been awful, but i think he has been spot on with the way he is handling bojan and diouf. It can't be easy for anyone to have to leave a player like bojan out of the team, but it had to be done. Now lets hope he can get back on the pitch and finish the season on a high.

He is still our best player, It's the start of his second coming , in terms of discovering his form. I've not known devastation over an injury before Like his, and I felt it more than most. The boy is majestic when flowing, I soo hope it's from now he gets back the confidence, fitness to allow him to perform how he does. I fucking love him Goaaaaarn good man It was inevitable ????

Taking him off cost us the game. IBBY was fucked from the midweek game. Hughes's sub's at time are fucking mind boggling

I thought Bojan played very well today. Lots of pace and movement and caused Swansea a lot of problems

When Shaq is back, we've got a bit of a dilemma.

When Shaq is back, we've got a bit of a dilemma. Not for me. Arnautovic Bojan Shaqiri Diouf Afellay is a competent understudy in any of the 3 midfield positions, but when everyone is fit & firing, the others just offer more

Afellay is a fantastic footballer but doesn't offer as much 'creativity' as Bojan. It's a shame because Ibi is a great player but we just can't fit him in.

Back too his best mate. Took him off and we were shocking He'd already faded out of the game before the sub. Not sure that is the way it was. He wasn't as brilliant as he had been for the first hour but he still looked fine. Afellay, on the other hand, had a brilliant first hour but was running on empty for the last 20 minutes - not surprising seeing that he had one and a half games for Holland last week and probably covered more ground than anyone on the pitch against England. When I saw the sub being readied to come on I presumed it was to replace Afellay and was gutted it was for Bojan.

I thought he was really good today. Taking him off wasn't clever. We dropped points today because hughes didn't think he had 90 in him. In my opinion, he looked like he had plenty more in the tank. Dropped a total bollock as far as I'm concerned. The two big negatives of hughes rein so far are our susceptibility to injuries and the frankly baffling subs at times. I thought he was really good today. Taking him off wasn't clever. Agreed. We looked a far less potent threat once Bojan went off. Taking him off for Diouff I could have coped with if we had put Diouff up front. To bring Bojan off and stick Diouff on the right hand side of midfield I will never understand. Diouff is useless out wide, unless our manager sees Diouff as a help out in defence and wanted to defend our lead, which is wrong on so many levels I'd rather not even think it might be true.

Really good today, looked a different player compared to the last couple of months ! Easily MOTM for me.
Think next year is the big season for him, but just great to see some of the form that he showed last season.
A big positive, from a very fustrating afternoon.

Seemed to be getting the fitness back. Lets hope a good pre season does it for him. Couple of great runs today and the goal was a sweet run and strike. He still had lots to do.

He doesn't get in the right places for a winger. Gutted.
