I think the Ugandan national keeper died of cancer a couple of days ago at the age of 28. Puts a fractured ankle into perspective I guess......

Hope they can raise enough money to give him an opportunity to get started with something but must be devastating.

Why couldn't he play again? I didn't see anything on permanent damage? Unless his vision is impaired don't they have face masks and such that can be used as protection?

I can only assume there is some long term damage to his eyesight. I guess he's not going to get the kind of care and facilities for rehabilitation that a pro footballer would get either.
