For those who play/played nogger, who would you say are you most like who have played for us??
Obviously not as good but in terms of skill, commitment and so on.
I was a left winger, not very quick but could beat a man Peter Beagrie style.so I'm going with him.
Next please.

Clive Clarke. Left back, generally quite shit but somehow gained a bit of seniority by shouting a lot and blaming other people for my mistakes edit: also I was actually better as a central midfielder

Whelan, Ball winning midfielder in the school teams probably the easiest job on the pitch. Win the ball and make the easiest pass possible.
In the yard however It was a case of blast the ball wide into space and chase after it because I knew I'd get there first as I was pretty quick

Adrian Heath. Short but wholehearted player who can see a pass.

So if I were the centre forward in your team I could have a bit of a rest whilst you did alternating left and right twists for a couple of minutes before delivering a cross?

My style would be best twinned with Richard Cresswall, without the pace, endurance or flair, playing right back.

Paul Peschisolido when playing up front (had the same hair style back in the 90's as well) Also played as a right full-back, so the closest player in that position would be Mikel Hansen (liked to get forward as much as possible)!!!

For skill or lack of it, probably Kyle Lightbourne... for physique since not too many SCFC players have boobs it has to be Neville Southall

A hybrid of Ricardo Fuller and Ade Akinbyi.
I can invent a trick to get out of a tight space a la Fuller, but then in true Akinbyi style I'll need about 53 clear cut chances before I score one.

School team: Peter Shilton - I could pull off some great saves but was also prone to some right gaffs. Dinner time footy: Micky Thomas - worked ard, made a few, scored a few. Playing at the park with the older kids: Andy Wilkinson - if in doubt, kick it out when in possession and take man and ball out when tackling. Never scored. Playing with the kids at the park: Jack Butland - near faultless. In my works recent 5 a side comp: see School team above mixed with Wilko's man and ball mentality. Best bit was the likening to Gordon Banks made by the Chairman of the company.

A taller, slower version of Dave Brammer. Midfielder who occasionally whacks one in from 30 yards but generally strolls around not getting too involved.

George Berry Not the most gifted of defenders but committed to the cause and got more than my share of headed goals from set pieces.
