Shame for the women, but they really should have won from the position they were in half way through the innings.
Men up next. How their spinners perform could be vital today.
Come on England!!

Now there's a surprise!

We're underway!
And the first wicket down - the very dangerous Guptill.
I reckon this game will be a cracker.

153 is a great effort from the bowlers. I thought they were heading towards at least 170 possibly 180+.
A special world for Jordan. He's had his critics - including me. And deservedly. But he's done very well for the most part in this tournament with the ball. And today he was excellent.
Now it's down to the batsmen. It's tough but very gettable.
C'mon England!

Excellent comeback from the bowling unit there. And agreed on Jordan mate, I've never seen him as up to this class but he was superb today. The other good point is Stokes bowling well, as when he gets his tail up, he generally has an on day with bat and ball. Hope he wont be required with the bat but if he is, wont be surprised if the ball disappears to all corners. Know it's not easy as the innings develops but I'm not sure Ali & Willey should have been left with 2 overs. Good start in the power play now please chaps!

if you're gonna swing, swing hard! Damn Right - the King of the swingers Superb opening 3 overs; 36 without loss. And some classic shots to go with the slogs.

That's bloody annoying from Hales - if you're going big, go BIG.
Anyway - looks like it's Jason Roy's day today. Keep the tempo going fella.

Can't help thinking Wiiliamson made a big mistake in not opening with a spinner from one end. Pace for the first 4 overs played to both our openers strengths. And they played to their strengths!

This is a destructive batting line up. As I said the other day, if we win the toss and bowl first, we have a chance of chasing any total down. Big word for the bowlers today though, came back superbly from a dodgy start. Who's next?!

It was a great performance all round, with a relatively comfortable run chase too!

Fantastic effort by the bowlers, and then Roy really started with a bang to bring the run rate well under control and from then on at a run a ball it was just when not if we got the winning run.
The other semi final should be interesting tomorrow but with India on home soil they should be able to beat the Windies, particularly if Kohli is in such devastating form again.

As with any windies game, it will depend if gayle turns up. Think i would rather play india than windies to be honest... just couldnt trust our bowling against gayle. :-)

I've always quite liked Jordan but of late he's been poor , all credit to him though because in the last couple of games he's bowled extremely well ....Roy was outstanding today , his shot selection was marvellous which is not always the case ....Well done to the whole team !

192-2.
Down to if Gayle fires now. Don't think the Windies have enough in them without him doing something...
