This is the chance for the batsmen to show what they can do.
No seeing a few balls to get your eye in.
If we don't turn this around then not long before the flight home.
Buttler, Morgan, Stokes, Root, Hayles - who's going to step up and win this?

I see you're getting the hang of this cricket thang! Crash, bang, wallop. Easy! I'm enjoying it tbh, the beer is helping but it's a cracking game chap! You have discovered the true meaning of cricket then - beer!

Fantastic so far, South Africa's bowling has been nothing short of shite though.

Wow! What a win.
Excellent from Rooty, but lots of great support.
We're back in the game now.

What a game. Whether t20 is one for the purists or not, that was great.

After work at 4pm, I have managed to get through about 6 or 7 pints watching that it was so tense!
Early finish on the settee head, but might watch the highlights on Sky again first (on in 5 mins)

Next time up - Topley and Jordan out and the two Liam's in.
Batting line up even stronger, the bowling much better balanced and the fielding also improved.
I reckon that line up could take us all the way in this tournament!

One further thought on yesterday - respect to our openers!
After scoring 4 runs of the first two overs against the Windies, they scored 44 of the first two against the SAfers.
After calling for them to go big and go straight how good was it to see the first ball driven over mid off for 4.
I get a bit bored with sides saying they will learn lessons from defeat, but on this occasion it seems to fit and be worthy of praise. Lessons were learned and acted on.

The decision to leave Mr Broad at home still baffles me, hope we won't be made to pay for it.

Anyone watching the West Indies v Sri Lanka game? Good win for the Windies. Sri Lanka did look amateurish at times though. If we play any decent level of cricket we should win our last two group games.

England v Afghanistan.
Hales out injured, Vince in. Topley dropped, Plunkett in.
Won the toss and batting first.
Comprehensive victory required.

Sri Lanka are going to find it very hard to replace the experienced payers that have recently retired ( as would any side ) .
