I'd say the song is now "on hold" until we sign a new striker in Summer. So Hughes MUST sign a player who has a first name or surname which scans with Odemwingie. You know he has one lined up don't you, Mark is shrewd like me and the man who fits the bill? He scores goals, he scores goals....Lewandowski! It's written in the bloody stars, to quote Gary Neville's Valencia.

Top bloke is Odemwingie, his signing gave us the kick up the arse we needed to climb the table, I hope he can recover some form at Brizzle, he'll smash them in for fun at that level.

Super player and that was a cruel injury that finished his time with us effectively.
Hope he does great and gets himself a contract elsewhere.
How good would we have been both last season and this, with a fully fit peter odemwingie?

What an impact he had in his first season! Unfortunately the injuries let him down! Good luck to the man!

Good luck Wingie. Go smash some goals in. His infectious positive attitude will be just what Bristol need in a dogfight

For the end of 13/14 season he was brilliant and came across as being a really popular guy. Good luck to him he still has a lot to offer.

Always seemed to enjoy playing for us, and that goal against Hull caused me to completely lose my shit.
Cheers Pete.

Good luck Peter. All the best. Played a part in one of my favourite bits of SCFC trivia. A Stoke City striker scoring against a Stoke City goalkeeper in a World Cup.

Good Luck to him, gutted when he got that injury at Man City, seems to be a great person to have in the dressing room, he's always smiling.

AGREED HE WAS FANTASTIC FOR US BUT NOW TIME TO MOVE ON IMPRESS AND GET US SOME MONEY BACK Is it this lack of knowledge and understanding among some of our own fans that may you just think...... Really ??? Hopefully Bristol City are paying something towards his wages so maybe we are recouping some of the money we paid out in wages; and the lack of understanding that some people on here aren't as articulate as others makes you think ...... really? did you really need to quote that?

All the best Pete. A great guy and I'm sure he will bang them in down there Second this, all the best and thanks for the fantastic - but sadly too short - contribution he made Not sure about the banging them in bit - a tackle is a tackle and he hasn't looked like he wanted to either make or take one since he's been back (understandably) so not sure how the Championship will be any different to the Prem in that respect

2 goals in 4 games since joining them - he should be good for another season or two at Championship level. I'm delighted for him and I hope he gets a great reception at Wilko's testimonial.

Dead right BM, I remember he played when we faced Man U at home and were struggling for points, he was well up for it. Fought for every ball and we took the three points that day. Bloody love the guy and gutted that his injury forced him out. Top bloke and good luck for his future.
