He is learning his trade and a number 2, should be better for next season, sounds like a school report. Haha, I think he should start every game from now on until the end of the season, I think he could save us a lot of cash.

I can see 2 from Crouch, Walters and Odemwingie leaving, freeing up wages for 1 better striker, and more of ones like Telford sitting on the bench now and then.

I think Diouf will score 5 in the last 9 games. That will make it 20 over two seasons, not too shabby in the circumstances

I think Crouch and Odem should definitely leave. Not getting any younger. Walters can do a job fitness wise as a backup player in a number of positions. Then we sign a striker as an upgrade or competition for Diouf.

Possibly a bit out of our league but would be an incredible signing. His agent is Shaqiri's brother though.

L'Equipe is claiming that Stoke, together with Juventus, have upped their interest to a 40m euro bid.
That follows reports that Stoke had apparently offered 30m euros (£22.7m) in the last transfer window.

I thought the Batman was sought after by bigger clubs than us?

Prices will be going through the roof this summer ...

Striker has to be the biggest signing. Batusaye looks a hell of a player but I cant see it happening. Despite a lot of negative press I do think an in form Berahino would be a great signing as he can play wide too. I also think we need to spend big on a CB. Would love the lad from Barca Bartra. If Arni goes I'd go all out for Yarmalenko or as backup Moses.

Batshuyi to Juve, Zaza to us, happy days. I'd take that. 25m+ on a striker would take too much out of our budget. Batshuayi had to come in January if we were to sign him, but in the summer all the big boys will be in there. Not just money, but Champions League football will persuade him. Zaza may come for 15m or so and, as a fringe player at Juve, he may buy into a starting role with us. That should leave us still with cash to spend to secure the other two or three starters we need, and the couple of back up bench options.

I would have thought every Premier league club will have, minimum, £40m to spend this summer. I think signings under £10m will be increasingly rare. Scary isn't it

I remember being gobsmacked on spending £600K on Brynjar. Now we're talking £30million on a forward. Amazing.

We might need another striker, but actually I think a winger, a central defender, a left back and a central midfielder is a bigger priority!

Batshuayi would be an immense signing Agreed. And with a re-settled Diouf on the bench...should be enough to guarantee the goals next season.
