It seems like we need a top drawer striker as our big money signing this summer.
I like Diouf and Joselu but each brings half of what we need. I think Walters and Crouch's time has gone.
So who to buy?
Berahino? Hernandez?

We've got no chance with Hernandez!
I reckon we'll go back in for Berahino and Batshuayi (if we were ever in for him). Possibly Lacazette too as we were tenuously linked with him in January.

If we're going to spend big on one then I'd love Berahino. I think he'll end up at Spurs but he's exactly the sort of player I'd love to see up front for us.
Batshuyi (sp) looks a good player but the added risk is there and it's a lot of money.

I do think Bony or Benteke would really lead the line well if we went with 1 up front. I like Berahino but he doesn't look strong enough to play up on his own. Wages as always could be the big problem.

Wages as always could be the big problem. With his pace and movement though I think he'd stretch the pitch vertically and create space for the 3 behind him and Imbula to work in. That's probably our biggest problem at the moment. There is no movement and as a consequence there is no space.

Dzeko Bony Berahino
Will all be on the radar I reckon.
Chances of getting any of them? Slim to none I would have thought.

Bony's a tried and tested striker who won't get a look in at Citeh next season and an early bid may get him at a half reasonable price.

Robert Lewandowski. Or failing that, Pierre-Emerick Aubemayang. Aubameyang cost Dortmund only 9M 3 seasons ago from St Etienne. That's half of what we paid for Imbula. He'll end up in the PL for 4/5 times that this summer. Dortmund have a top drawer recruitment policy. Premier League clubs are lazy.

Batshuayi might be tempted, if we get a European spot, but the 'Ammers might do as well, or instead, and have the lure of the bright lights of Landin!
We will look abroad - I feel we may go back in for Paul-Georges Ntep and that Barca B striker, Sandro Ramirez, who we looked at last year.
