For those of you with an android box a lot of people are now downloading an app called Mobdro. This app links to streams of all the UK sports and film channels and more. I'm told its good quality and reliable but have not used it myself.
You need to download the app using your browser here Mobdro.
You down load the .APK file an then install it on your box by clicking the file which will be saved in the downloads section which can be accessed by your file manager.
You can run this on a Windows setup but you need to install an android emulator. Easy to use but a lot of buffering and quality is hit and miss, a useful back up in case Kodi is not working for box/stick, it is however good on mobile !

Ok so I have an android box, with kodi. I've set it up with wookie on. I go to sports-zone/valhalla and click on a stream, I can see the stream looks quality for a second or two then it goes blocky as shit, colours all funny and then perfect again. What is going on?? Any help would be great cheers.

If you go to System -> Settings -> Video -> Settings Level (at bottom) to Advanced then Acceleration - turn off hardware acceleration.

Not sure if anyone can help with this but the problem is that when I click on a link to view a stream, it comes up with a message that says error - view log.
What do I need to do to be able to watch the stream?
Thanks

What do I need to do to be able to watch the stream? Thanks GB I get that too , haven't got a clue . Could me a number of reasons but the most probable are as follows:- 1. Your setup is old and the addons you're trying to stream on are now obsolete or have been updated. If this is possible clear your KODI settings and install the Wookie wizard as I have described in previous posts on this thread. The wizard will install all the latest, working addons. Once you have done this and if you still can't stream go to number 2. 2. Your internet is to slow, or if you are connected via wifi your signal is not strong enough and the data is not getting to your device quickly enough. To Check this install ookla speedtester on your device which is available as an app in the play store or apple store. It is also accessible by a web page if using a Windows PC. If your download speed is registering at over 6mbps your probably good to go so have a look at 3. 3. BT, Sky and Virgin latest routers are setup by default to block certain web feeds. If these controls are on, this will block your attempts to stream. All you need to do is to access the router settings and to turn this off. A guide on how to do this can be found here. Unblock router

Unblock routerI am using a firestick will this work ? Yes, Wookie can be installed on a firestick in the same way as any other device. If Kodi is already installed on the stick then all you need to do is follow the guide at the end of this sentence. However, ensure that you install Wookie Lite as this is designed for devices with low processor speed and memory like the stick. Install Wookie Lite. I suggest that if your firestick used to work okay, that the problem is that the addons installed on it are obsolete as they are now out of date. That is the problem in using on of the pre-loaded devices found on ebay or even the ones being peddled on this board. Kodi and its addons evolve all of the time and if you do not learn how to update and reconfigure it will be useless within as little as a few weeks. The easiest way to learn how to configure it is to download it to a PC or tablet and follow all the guides found on the internet. Once you have it worked out you will then be able to change the settings on any device that you install KODI on. The best guides are often found here Guides. If you had the stick working previously and you have not had a new router or changed internet provider it is unlikely that it is your router settings that are the problem. Firesticks have a notoriously slow wifi connection and they cannot be wired to your router. To ensure that the speed is good enough it needs to be close to your router, at least in the same room. The closer the better, wifi speed depletes the further your device moves away from the router, or if it is blocked by walls and doors etc. I don't know if you can test the wifi speed directly from a stick but you can check you wifi speed by using any other device such as smart phone, tablet or PC by using Ookla speed test. Just run the app from the same area that your stick is being used and it will give you a rough idea of the speed that it is connecting at.

Thanks for your reply mate , have loaded kodi onto the firestick myself and have watched some very good streams . However now the colours all run into each other and streams are not great . When I put the firestick on it does say that the ad dons are updating .

In Kodi itself turn off the options for hardware acceleration, this should stop the blurring you describe.

Just read up on some forums for you a lot of people are currently encountering problems with the firestick. To resolve the problems the advice is to uninstall Kodi. Then reinstall using Kodi Jarvis 16.0. Then install the wookie addon but only select the Wookie Lite setup. This will be configured to work on the stick rather than the more powerful android boxes and it only installs the essential addons so as not to slow it down.

Don't forget to turn hardware acceleration off today if you are using the Valhalla addon.

Forget the last Valhalla Sports has been made defunct. However, the Phoenix addon has taken over the streams and all links are in Phoenix/Phoenix sports/VC Events.

Looks like Robocop is down.
Good stream on the new phoenix sports section, you need to update the addon first to version 3. You must turn off video acceleration or it will not display correctly.
If this fails Money sports addon gives you Sportsnet Ontario which is streaming the build up, game and punditry in 540p
