That's amazing, anyone who doesn't like that needs to take a long hard look at themself and stop being a miserable cunt. These are golden years being able to watch a trio as good as that all play together and compliment each other so well, enjoy them. May never see anything else like it.

Golden years of two clubs ruining a top flight division by buying the best players, having a bigger cut of the Tv deal, and thrashing the also rans each week Sounds like Scotland. Yesterday's super Sunday and Leicester is proving that our league although not the best is the most exciting league around.

I never said their league is better, ours is the best in the world without a doubt. Followed by the Bundesliga before BBVA. The best team in the world though? Barcelona. Can't wait for the champions league to get going again

Lets not to dress this season up as being normal either.

As good as Barcelona obviously are there's a reason why their key players are able to play 60/70 games a season and stay fresh for the Champions League at the business end of the season. It's because for 80% of their domestic games they strut around like the Harlem Globetrotters whilst the opposition simply roll over and have their bellies tickled. Great technical league played at walking pace half the time, the Barca players get an easy ride....

During super Sunday a player chose to take the fact 1 of his teammates was down injured to pretend he was gonna put it out then when the defence switched off he carried on running with the ball, and then kicked the ball out of play some 20-30 yards further when somebody went to challenge him. Now that's Disrespectful.

Now that's Disrespectful. Yes it is. I'm not going to go through the whole of the weekends football to find every bad act. But this is the thread about barca peno. When you are the best players in the world, the best team In the world, comfortably ahead in the game there is no need for it. Give ratboy the peno if you want him to score. If the best players in the world show know no respect you can't expect it to filter down.

Obviously it's audacious and fun to watch, but I can't be overly impressed that they do it whilst comfortably beating a very average team. If they do it again when they're a goal down, or in a Champions League final, then I'll be far more impressed.

Just got back home from watching the game out there.
Brilliant experience and from my point of view the penalty was an "I was there" moment so I can't moan about it but to be honest being able to watch how they play from my vantage point (not quite in the Gods but close!) was a joy to behold regardless of the Messi/Suarez show.
Whatever you think of the pen, if you don't enjoy watching them play you can't enjoy football.
It's simply on another level.

Pugsley, just enjoy the game, food and the city, nothing else required. seen them twice live, once in Barcelona (0-0) years ago and the best 0-0 ever and last year with my son when they won La Liga at Athletico, a magical experience. As Jamo says watching live from the stands is what football is all about, the movement, running off the ball and speed of thought of the players is breathtaking. Enjoy!!

We didn't sit in our seats though as there were so many spare ones and we moved from quite near the back all the way down to the front of our tier. Seemed that the lower tiers were where most of the local fans went (might be wrong but it's how it appeared). Get there in good time, we were at the ground about two hours before kick off to soak it all up. As a place to visit Barcelona is superb. Bus tour is a must unless you're there a good while as there's so much to see. Stay off La Rambla for food (keep possessions safe on there too) and I definitely recommend getting down to the coast. We had lunch in Pascha yesterday which was brilliant. Enjoy!!

Aside from that, Spurs look a very good team, no standout players but the work ethic was unbelievable. People talk about the team spirit at Leicester but Spurs seem to have it in abundance as well...another team where the sum of all parts is the deciding factor in their season so far. Think there remaining fixtures/Europe League/FA Cup may catch up with them. Leicesters run-in is by far the easiest also.

Can you wear keeper gloves that are the size of the goal?
Can't find it in the rules.
Would that be disrespectful or clever?

I don't get it. Neymar is a diving, cheating toe-rag. Suarez is just as bad. Both of them could make a pretty convincing bid for the 'biggest cheat of all time' trophy. Pretty much the rest of the team is the same. Shouldn't that be the beginning and the end of the discussion of all things Barcelona?
