Both at home, Both against teams in the bottom 3, Both teams have just lost by big margins,
6 points on paper, but are we going to show enough bottle to go out and boss these two games?
Would be great to set us up for a finish chasing European positions, but typical we don't take full advantage of these opportunities.
I'm going for
3-0 0-1

I predict a narrow win and a draw, not sure in what order though.

Flip side of the coin is that both teams need a reaction and can't play as badly again?? Would be wonderful to take 6 pts though

We will win our next two games.
We will have a few of our injured lads back and in Imbula we finally have that driving force in midfield.
Villa and Newcastle will be swotted aside quite comfortably.

I been coming over once or twice a season every year for about 10 years now and not seem em lose yet! Have tickets for next 3 matches, 2 wins and a draw will do me nicely. Onwards and upwards.

The strange thing is that Newcastle don't play again until their game against us. That's in 2 and a half weeks!

Newcastle aren't the sort of side to sit back and Villa are now at the point where settling for a draw isn't an option (either that or they've given up completely). At least these circumstances may work in our favour.

Football is a funny game, wouldn't surprise me if 1 of them pinch a win at our place!

The break really helps us. Two wins, might not be six and five though

Two crisis clubs who will be both be in lower divisions next season. I'm sorry but 6 points is required.

We're doomed - have you lot only just started supporting Stoke.
Villa are rock bottom, can't score and have just let in a hatful at home. That has 0-1 flukey away win written all over it. Especially if they decide to recall a striker that hasn't scored in a couple of years or even better is half fit after nearly retiring from the game.

I just hope that after Saturday we see a more positive approach to get at teams instead of just keeping the ball , as long as i see that and the effort I can accept the result but we need to get the tempo of the game high at the start

I think we'll beat Villa comfortably- they're utter dog shit.
Newcastle will be a tough game.

Will Villa's 6-0 defeat it work in our favour or against us? If their players have given up,then they are there for the taking. Or will they come to us all guns blazing and try to prove their critics wrong?

Seeing as it's us probably the latter I reckon. We never get an easy walkover! Though top of their game they're still quite wank

We're better than them, play well we win. Play without intensity as we're also capable of and we can lose to absolutely anyone. After a good break I think it will be the former......

Sould be up to us on the day, never sit back and take things for granted after a heavy defeat, I'd expect us to put in a decent performance no matter who we played, and should we do that, we MAY give them another trouncing!!!

For wanting that Europa spot or to finish better than last seasons place and points total, 6 points, nothing else will do.
