I'd like Villa to get spanked so that when they turn up at The Brit in their heads they're already down.....

I'd like Villa to get spanked so that when they turn up at The Brit in their heads they're already down..... Every time. Never get the mentality where supporters of stoke put their hatred of another team before what's in the best interests of their own team.

If Villa win today they give themselves a fighting chance of getting out. Exactly. That will be two wins on the bounce and they will be coming here with their tails up.

I was going to, but haven't bothered (and I really am the kiss of death) Edit - And I should have added that when I don't, I usually end up wishing that I had

I want Villa to win...grudgingly....simply because if Liverpool win they move above us. Leicester should beat Arsenal with ease.

I suppose it's coming to that stage where it's shit or bust for Villa and they simply have to go out and try to win games. Hopefully that will suit us.

I think I prefer villa to beat Liverpool to keep them below us in the table than Liverpool going above us. We're better against teams that come at us so villas tails being up might suit us :-)

Tough one, think I'd like villa to win, and end up with 11 injuries, nothing too serious, but will keep them out for 15 days

If Villa win today they give themselves a fighting chance of getting out. Exactly. That will be two wins on the bounce and they will be coming here with their tails up. This season especially, this rule doesn't really work does it? We played Watford at home on the back of 3 consecutive wins. They hadn't won in their previous 3. We know how that ended up. When we went to Sunderland we had won 5 of our previous 7, they had only won 2 of their previous 13. We know how that ended up. Bournemouth yesterday, we came off the back of a stinking run, hadn't scored for ages, they were in decent form... Well you get the point I'm making. It's the same for most clubs and the reason why from Watford (8th) to WBA (14th) there's only 4pts in it - most clubs are struggling to maintain any sort of form. What's also quite interesting is the clubs I mention from 8th to 14th all have very similar home and away records - with only one exception, all have either won 4 or 5 games both home and away. All capable of losing games they should win, winning games they should lose. The point I'm trying to make is that nobody is putting a good run of form together, maybe with Leicester, Spurs and Southampton as current exceptions. So even if Villa do win today, I don't think them coming with their tails up will have much of a bearing on us. I'd rather Villa win today, keep Liverpool below us.
