To be fair Jon gave the perfect example today of "putting a shift in ". On another day he could have had a hat trick as well. I thought that SJW had a very good game today and currently merits a place in our starting 11 Thank goodness MH stepped in to resolve his transfer issues (Werrington not usually a fan of SJW)

Is he a striker or a defender ? After watching the game, I was unsure. He was brilliant today at the back. Let's not forget that as a "striker" he was actually running the left channel when Shaq had switched to the right. Great performance. A credit to the team. Flashy new hair do. A utility player that today earned whatever we are paying him by some margin.

I'll never understand how some people want to slate Diouf. He's an absolute credit to our club and never gives anything less than 100%, regardless of the job he's asked to do. He's the kind of player who instills some pride into a game that for the most part is dominated by delusional, self-absorbed fuck wits who have no concept of anything beyond feeding their own egos.
Man of the match? Probably not, but still an absolute pleasure to see him back in the side.

Thought he was going get sent off after his 100 odd fouls in the first 10 mins lol played well in the end though. The Bournemouth winger was winding him up summat shocking, Diouf was giving him a hard time so he did his best to get Mame booked.

The whole team today seemed to have a more togetherness ,I have been on of Dioufs biggest critics as a forward, but today he did a job for the team. When we fight together as a team we look so much stronger, the last couple of weeks we have played as inderviduals .Today was our best result of the season after a few bad performances.

He's surprisingly good at right back though, not sure how that works though.

Diouf gives his best regardless of what role he's given in the team but he does seem to enjoy that full back role and he's pretty damn good at it. He looks like he enjoys being a full back more than he does a winger. Carl "Spiderman" Saunders was the last centre forward cum right back I can remember.

So... he's a striker who started on the left wing and ended up as right back. I thought he did very well, actually! Give him a couple of games in that position and we might have discovered a little gem

A great effort from the big man.

I actually think he'd make one hell of a RWB. With shawcross behind him in a 3 and give him a license to go forward.

Long may it continue.
Like a number of our players I think he loves to be loved.

Really good to see him smiling again Yes he looks a bit happier. I noticed that had good chat with Gianilli after his goal and at other times in the game. Good for both of them .

I love Diouf , he is a credit to the club....he puts in one hell of a shift wherever he plays, even when he must be disappointed not to have been picked in his preferred position. Given more chances as striker he will score too. Quite how the likes of shangaipotter and alunsadick (deliberate typo ) can label him as lazy...a donkey.. well past his best etc is totally beyond me. Disgraceful comments about one of our players....they should hang their heads in shame for writing such drivel.
