Anyone else see this piece the BBC have been running: Middle class high jinxI appreciate there isn't much else to do up there to do up there when stocks of heroin and super market lager run out but I do wonder if it could travel down to England as well. One of the places that I have to work is in a place called Larkhall in Scotland.
I was advised, when needing to nip to Asda in the town, to take my hi viz vest off!
When I asked why, the depot manager said just trust me take it off because it's green!
In the town, every green traffic light has been covered with mesh as they keep getting smashed, the subway isn't green, the pharmacy's can't have a green cross on them, all because it is mainly a "Rangers area" it spills in to every day life as well!
In England the rivalry is primarily based on "Football reasons" and Grography, in parts of Scotland, Religion also plays a big part

At subway they did, I'm sure I heard that it's the only subway in Europe that isn't Green and Yellow ( I haven't a clue if this is true, just what one of the locals told me) |
