Perfect win to end a dismal run. Highlights our work ethic and determination. Lets hope everyone gets back on side now. The two week break could not come at a better time and hopefully when we return for two home games we will have our confidence restored and most players back fit and raring to go

Excellent, excellent, excellent.
SJW MoM by a country mile.
Tip tap crap chucked in the bin.
Back to solid defence and quick, effective attacks.
Well done LMH.

So refreshing to have a central midfielder who the opposition give space to and fear (maybe even more so than Zonz)
Has everything in his locker: passing/range, vision (defensively too), drive and strength, brilliant touch, and looks like the management can easily get him scoring more goals.
Whelan was a bit hit and miss today I thought, but Imbula stepped up and ran the show when we were in possession at least (his positioning was much better and will improve very quickly). A class above the rest.

muni and johnson injured and aff ran himself into the ground Who the hell have we played in defence. Sounds like a good performance. diouf started out as a left winger and finished as a right back, tex came on for muni in the center

Difference today was a great team effort - all working for each other, using the ball well.
Having somebody that looks so comfortable on the ball like Imbula is really priceless, as it takes off a lot of pressure.
Great effort lads!

I didn't watch and only found out the result when I got home 5 minutes ago. How did they play? Who was MOM?
Coming over on the 26th and have tickets with my mate (been supporters for 50 years) for Villa and Toon, then going to Chelski with my kid (well not exactly a kid, he's 26).
Onwards and upwards.

Imbula is a special special player reminds me of a young Yaya Toure. Enjoy him while he's here because he is class I was thinking the same. I hope he doesn't get too good! From what I've seen, two games, he's a class above, I am trying to reign on my excitement about Imbula. Imagine if we break the bank to get a 20 goal a season striker? This team is starting to remind me of the mid seventies team when Hudson came!

Natalie Imbula was my MOTM by some distance today. I particularly like the way he drives forward with the ball He was indeed superb, but the performance of SJW was something special. Our team suddenly had a focal point and everyone benefited. I think he covered more ground than anyone else, he battled for everything while he was up front and held up the ball beautifully. He had a deserved assist for the second goal and was right behind Joselu when the 3rd went in. If LMH was struggling for his best team, he now knows the lone striker is nailed down for SJW until the end of the season.

95% of this board thought Hughes has lost the plot and stoke are shit. Oh dear boys, hide away. Why should they hide away?. Supporters had a right to be critical after recent performances. Are you saying you never voiced a negative comment during that period. I think not!. Tonight you can still Fuck right off! Up the potters

Natalie Imbula was my MOTM by some distance today. Great game by him considering second time out, difficult choice today but yes just shades it, lot of good positive performances especially Shaq's quadrupple rollover!

Just shows you should not believe 'all accounts' - you have no idea which idiots wrote the accounts! i mean, every portuguese football specialist will tell you the same thing - he was absolutely rubbish for porto. it's just odd that it didn't work out there since he's clearly extremely talented. obviously i'm delighted about that since now he's a stoke player! Point taken but then I rarely accept the opinions of many ENGLISH football specialists, be it online, on air or in print. The 'Sunday Supplement' is a good example of why my opinion is such
