After reading on here his current plight, surely we should try and set in motion a call for a testimonial for him. Post your name to add your support. Gouranga.

Isn't he in Toronto getting treatment? Treatment for what? Are Stoke still paying him a wage or paying for his treatment? Gouranga.

His contract expired in January I think. He's suffered some sort of brain damage hasn't he? He may very well never recover

He went to America to get treatment on his concussion. No idea if he's still there or not.

My sister lives in Canada and he was over there with her and fella he has been told he will never play again shame proper stokie that lad Really that's gutting for him and all us Stokies, a proper local lad that came through the ranks. If it is officially confirmed that his football career is over then it would be a great gesture by the Stoke to have a testimonial for him. I wonder if its something that we (supporters) can get some initiative started? Good luck Wilko. Gouranga.

His contract expired in January I think. He's suffered some sort of brain damage hasn't he? He may very well never recover I understand it is more related to his eyesight and one more blow could cause a loss of vision in one eye, as opposed to brain damage. Sad nevertheless.

Testimonial is definitely due for a proper Stokie - this is exactly what they are for!

Just looked it up ,it was the 17th Jan,i had a reply from his wife. If you contact her again give Wilko our best wishes and tell him we're all right behind him and hope he makes a full recovery and plays again at the highest level he can. In the meantime come on Stokies lets get behind one of our own to try and get the club to give him a testimonial. Gouranga.

Do we still do polls or something would be good if we can get one going for the lad.
And if it happens let him come on and take a penalty so he can say he scored in front of the boothen

Normally I'm against testimonials for top flight players as they are all millionaires. But in cases like this we should make an exception - he's been a great servant to the club and his career has ended in a pretty horrible way. Let's have a testimonial for him - in pre season preferably.
